Great location, minutes from city centre. Huge, comfortable room.Staff friendly and helpful.
Location was perfect, pay car park next door, friendly staff and great breakfast!
Good location in centre of town
No car parking cost a extra £14.00 just to park my car
Friendly staff, dealt very well and patiently with a particularly difficult customer.
Dinner options were ok but nothing special. Paying to park was disappointing, needs to be factored as an additional cost
The location was excellent and the room had a nice large window and was very quiet for sleeping. Everything was fully functional. I would recommend this to anyone staying in Durham UK.
A telephone in the room would have made us more accessible to relatives in town. Larger garbage containers in the bathroom would have been nice.
Helpfulness of staff
The staff were lovely - helpful and genuinely friendly. A cot and blankets were provided for our baby. Our bed was very comfortable, and the room was very clean. Just a 10 minute walk from the train station.
Central location Friendly and helpful staff Comfortable room
Difficulty in getting to hotel by car No parking outside hotel for unloading
Being forced to pay my bill using Credit Card and being refused making payment in cash.
Staff very friendly
Lack of drawers
About 10 minutes walk from the railway station - downhill was fine going but uphill return journey was a bit of a challenge! Good location for shops and restaurants. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK. Good value for money.
Ground floor room, view was adjacent road. Building site opposite hotel. Wifi was £3 per day extra.
Fantastic welcome from all staff and excellent city centre location.
Loved the huge room & actually having the space "to spread out". Thoughtful positioning of power points & plenty of them! Good shower
Having to pay for wifi
The hotel is near to the train station and close to shopping areas and places of interest. This is a great place for couples or for a family. The rooms are comfortable and staff are welcoming and willing to assist with any queries. The restaurant offers a good variety of meals that are reasonably priced. I would return and recommend to others.
Big comfy bed that I could control the temperature in my room the breakfasts the friendly staff
This was my fault really as the room booked had disability access so the sink , bath and shower were too low for me so it's not really a fault just next time I will make sure the room selected is not of this type as I allowed booking.com to find me the best deal
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Well placed and a good nights sleep.
Having to pay to park - although subsidised.
Clean comfortable room with tea and coffee making facilities. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Within walking distance of Durham town centre.
A bit difficult to find!
Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful
Nothing, all good
location, nice breakfast
only one set of towels. told reception staff about this & they wanted me to take them to the room myself. as we were going out I suggested they do that as I pay for their service. the towels didn't arrive !!
location, size of room and bed, food and drink facilities available on site.
Wi-Fi time limited without paying for extra. despite information saying that 30mins would be based on actual time useage it wasn't - I made sure that my my devices were both switched off Wi-Fi immediately I had finished use.
excellent central location, staff were incredibly helpful when offering directions and very personable remembering us and enquiring as to our personal circumstances.
The location was perfect for an overnight stay in Durham centre, the room was modern, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good value for money.
The T.V signal strength wasn't. Very good .
