Given a disabled room and it smelt as tho someone had had an accident on the carpet
Really comfortable bed and an excellent breakfast which is great value for money.
Lovely breakfast and dinner.
Great location, clean comfortable room, reasonable value for money, helpful staff
All good except view from the window onto building site
The size of the bed
.Faulty shower water spurted out of main tap shower connector .Hairy bowl for tea, coffee etc .Fan already being switched on ( not by us) which came on twice in the night and woke us up .Toilet paper was rammed into the holder so I couldn't get it out ( #shredded paper) .House keeping knocking on the door at 10:30 am to see if we'd left desite late check out of 12 pm .building site adjacent starting up at 7:00am No phone to contact reception
The size of the bed, clean linen and towels. Location of hotel, near to centre and many eating places. Staff pleasant and helpful.
Being placed in a room for disabled people (no bath, shower with seat). No hairdryer in the room although one was obtained from reception on request. Free wi-fi but no access as directed to ultimate connection at £5 per 24 hrs.
Friendly helpful staff, good food and an excellent location made this a great place to stay. The evening meal deal( which included breakfast the following morning) was fantastic value and of good quality.
Location cannot be beat, close to everything. Staff were polite and helpful at almost every turn.
Beds themselves, voted least favorite by my entire group on our UK adventure. Turned away from the restaurant for breakfast because it was " too close to closing time ".
The en suite bathroom. Triple glazing; nice and quiet. Nice and warm.
Liked the open arrangement for clothing storage, but not enough storage space; we were only there for 2 nights. Some drawers for underwear, socks etc and more hangers would be appreciated.
Modern, well maintained hotel in a few minutes of walk of the centre
Good bed, good shower, good breakfast. Friendly efficient staff. Short walk to city centre.
Had to ask at reception for hair dryer. Other guests very rowdy in corridor late at night, not the fault of the staff but I was glad I had put on the safety chain. Return to hotel weekend evenings through unpleasant pub crowds in adjoining piazza, again not fault of hotel but location.
Staff were lovely, service was first rate, food was very nice, facilities excellent.
Nothing to dislike.
The staff. They were kind, polite, and helpful.
Sometimes the service. We had to ask for towels at the reception. No soap in bathroom. The last day no one bothered to service the room properly. Their rates are not so low to excuse lack of good service.
Travelled with my friend for a night out. Arrived to a very friendly lady at the check in desk called Colleen, she was really helpful and pointed us in the right direction to the nightclubs. Hotel is in a perfect location and our room was immaculate. Huge mirror in the bathroom which is always good for girls getting ready! Peaceful nights sleep and the bed was comfy :) price was great as we split the fee between us. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other people!
Recently stayed in City Centre Premier Inn Durham with couple of friends. Location excellent for night out. No need for taxis home. Staff helpful and friendly and you can't beat a Premier Inn Bed for a good nights sleep followed by an excellent breakfast next morning.
Comfortable bed with choice of pillows and cleanliness was superb standard.
no hair drier, toothbrush, facial soap and body lotion. These I would consider basics
comfy bed, good breakfast
need to pay for wifi, lobby was a bit cold
Great location, minutes from city centre. Huge, comfortable room.Staff friendly and helpful.
Location was perfect, pay car park next door, friendly staff and great breakfast!
Good location in centre of town
No car parking cost a extra £14.00 just to park my car
Friendly staff, dealt very well and patiently with a particularly difficult customer.
Dinner options were ok but nothing special. Paying to park was disappointing, needs to be factored as an additional cost
The location was excellent and the room had a nice large window and was very quiet for sleeping. Everything was fully functional. I would recommend this to anyone staying in Durham UK.
A telephone in the room would have made us more accessible to relatives in town. Larger garbage containers in the bathroom would have been nice.
Helpfulness of staff
