Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. They even lent us an umbrella when it was pouring with rain!!
The breakfast staff were wonderful, extremely efficient, professional , friendly, helpful, in particular one member of staff stood out amongst the other waiters, he just simply amazing .
I don't like big mugs for tea !
Location excellent.Steph on reception is an asset to the company
I like the size and comfort of the bed. The room size was good too.
The television was not working well. No wash cloth in bathroom.
the staff at reception were very friendly, even when it was busy. The continental breakfast was varied and the restaurant was good.
As the cost is the same for single, double and triple use, it's definitely convenient for families or couples than for singles. The room was a bit small, and the extra bed took up room unnecessarily, as it was not needed. Also, you can't open the windows (for security reasons).
Warm welcome, quiet room, central location, helpful staff
Location Clean Room Breakfast excellent Staff very friendly and helpful
Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Lucy on reception
Bit pricey for the standard of the room. Slow wifi
Comfortable bed Pleasant staff
No ability to buy a toothbrush which they used to have. No hairdryer in room as they hadnt replaced it no one explained what the wifi password etc would be
Friendly staff Near to shops, etc
bed temp control peace breakfast location
smelly bathroom - room 116 tv on wall to right of bed asked for housekeeping to sort smell in bathroom but nobody came
The location was brilliant however that was also what I didn't like
Noise from a building site over the road, was awoken very early, Net Curtain kept falling down, holes in the curtains, for what I paid I don't think I received good value, I explained to the staff who did not seemed bothered and took no details down, This was to be a lovely surprise weekend away for myself and my partner as I work 7 days per week usually, I was disappointed
Staff were excellent and very friendly The room was clean and usable.
Parking in a multistory was a pain and the cost high adding to the overall cast of staying. Even though we booked well in advance the room price incl. breakfast was a bit high.
Friendly and helpful staff. Nice rooms, good location.
You only get 1/2 hour of wifi per day and then you have to pay.
Colleen on the front desk was the nicest receptionist I have ever come across and all the staff generally were incredibly friendly and helpful and kind. Really quiet and comfortable room with everything you need, and perfect central location.
There is a building nearby being constructed but this was only a temporary and superficial inconvenience - we heard no noise from building at all.
Breakfast. I missed the choice of brown bread, cheese and lean ham instead of fatty bacon.
In a quiet street close to the centre of the town, you are able to walk to the cathedral in minutes.
Closeness to centre and train station and price
Nothing all good
Room was great and quiet, staff was exceptional, breakfast was all we could want.
Dinner menu was too limited, had to pay for wifi longer than 30 min. per day (should have been free), no house phone.
First class breakfast Happy helpful staff
Door key system not reliable room 115
Location, friendly staff
Mattress was uncomfortable
Location Cleanliness Friendly Staff Good foood
The key card was unreliable
Liked all aspects
Nothing to note
I really think in this day and age that ALL hotels should offer free WiFi 24 hrs. If coffee bars etc can do so then it's nonsense that hotel groups think they should charge!
I absolutely loved the lady at the reception. She was warm, welcoming, helpful while remaining always discreet. The quietness of the structure and the coziness of the room added up to the perfect stay.
