Staff were very friendly and helpful, including staff in attached pub/restaurant. Bed comfy, good room. Only £6 in a six into Durham centre. Easy to find straight off M1.
Room was a little on the cold side, maybe this was due to it being an end room on the ground floor. Heat control was set at 23 degrees as the highest it would go with a very small wall heater for a quad size room.
booked breakfast was superb. evening meal and service was excellent,
wifi was non existant.
Staff very friendly and helpful Clean and quiet Nice restaurant close vicinity Great value for money Good location to M1
Had to pay for Wifi, should be FOC in all hotels nowadays Food in restaurant was good value but not the best I've had! - we ate here twice and both visits could have been better.
Just off A1. 5 mins walk to buses into Durham. Good pub next door serving meals.
The staff couldn't do enough for us, really friendly, great service in the hotel and pub next door. Good food.
What a surprise...I've never stayed at a Premier Inn before and was expecting a tiny room and a basic bathroom....Not at all! A very spacious room with 2 comfy beds - a double for me and a single for my daughter. An added bonus to have an actual bath in the bathroom! I found this property very easy to find and having a pub right next door that served good 'pub nosh' in the evening, and a 'full English' in the morning was extremely convenient and welcomed. I would definitely stay here again.
the onsite restaurant was well worth the money, we thought our meals were beautiful. lovely pillows lovely staff
mattress not as comfortable as other premier inn hotels we have stayed at, my partner had a stiff back the next day.
Next to excellent resaurant. Staff helpful and pleasant. Room clean, tidy and comfortable. Large parking area
Never like paying but make an exception this time
Easy to find, regular bus service to town, rooms usual excellent standard, friendly smiley faces when we arrived. At this Premier the hot breakfast was cooked to order and great service again.
Staff very personable and helpful. Room clean with basic facilities. No hairdryer.
Paying for Wifi having paid £73 for the room. Over priced for what we got. Found out that wifi is free at the restaurant next door whee they served breakfast and evening meals - only after having paid for it in the hotel.
Poor breakfast service
Good beds, dinner & breakfast at the adjacent restaurant were quite nice & very handy.
A bit of a smell in the hallway carpets.
The staff was extremely nice and cheery. We had laundry to do and we were looking for a laundromat. They didn't direct us to a laundromat, they did our laundry! The fee was a donation to a local charity for children. These ladies were helpful, amazingly friendly, and made our stay fantastic!
Not a single complaint.
Next room kid very loud keep wake up my kids
Comfortable beds, clean room, nice bathroom
Hen parties returning in the middle of the night - sound insulation has space for improvement.
Clean rooms and a great teame!
Location Cleanliness Comfort Catering
We had someone overhead who walked/paced their room the entire night - and the sound insulation was such that it felt like we lay there and heard every footstep
Everything was a decent standard, the bed and room were comfortable and the reception staff were friendly.
The price, its similar to what you would pay for a hotel which offers more luxury and facilities such as a spa with in house restaurant and bar. Also my husband and son were kept awake by a humming noise however I slept through this.
the hotel was spotless, compliments to the cleaning team !Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
volume on tv only went up to 25,i would have liked it a little higher.
customer service room size bed - super comfy food - tasty, good quality and lots of it
The staff were superb and they went out of their way to help us -
value for money except for internet connection which did not work.
having to pay for internet connection and having done so, its failure! a waste of money
We liked everything - easy to find, near to Durham, spacious room, good food next door. Fan was very useful as it was a hot day!
Food quality not too great
I paid for family room, there was one double bed, one single bed and a fold out bed base with no mattress, I reported this to reception and all they could offer was a quilt to lie on. The staff advised that this is all that's available for family room. It was an uncomfortable weekend stay for my 13 year old daughter.
