Easy to find, regular bus service to town, rooms usual excellent standard, friendly smiley faces when we arrived. At this Premier the hot breakfast was cooked to order and great service again.
Staff very personable and helpful. Room clean with basic facilities. No hairdryer.
Paying for Wifi having paid £73 for the room. Over priced for what we got. Found out that wifi is free at the restaurant next door whee they served breakfast and evening meals - only after having paid for it in the hotel.
Poor breakfast service
Good beds, dinner & breakfast at the adjacent restaurant were quite nice & very handy.
A bit of a smell in the hallway carpets.
The staff was extremely nice and cheery. We had laundry to do and we were looking for a laundromat. They didn't direct us to a laundromat, they did our laundry! The fee was a donation to a local charity for children. These ladies were helpful, amazingly friendly, and made our stay fantastic!
Not a single complaint.
Next room kid very loud keep wake up my kids
Comfortable beds, clean room, nice bathroom
Hen parties returning in the middle of the night - sound insulation has space for improvement.
Clean rooms and a great teame!
Location Cleanliness Comfort Catering
We had someone overhead who walked/paced their room the entire night - and the sound insulation was such that it felt like we lay there and heard every footstep
Everything was a decent standard, the bed and room were comfortable and the reception staff were friendly.
The price, its similar to what you would pay for a hotel which offers more luxury and facilities such as a spa with in house restaurant and bar. Also my husband and son were kept awake by a humming noise however I slept through this.
the hotel was spotless, compliments to the cleaning team !Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
volume on tv only went up to 25,i would have liked it a little higher.
customer service room size bed - super comfy food - tasty, good quality and lots of it
The staff were superb and they went out of their way to help us -
value for money except for internet connection which did not work.
having to pay for internet connection and having done so, its failure! a waste of money
We liked everything - easy to find, near to Durham, spacious room, good food next door. Fan was very useful as it was a hot day!
Food quality not too great
I paid for family room, there was one double bed, one single bed and a fold out bed base with no mattress, I reported this to reception and all they could offer was a quilt to lie on. The staff advised that this is all that's available for family room. It was an uncomfortable weekend stay for my 13 year old daughter.
Staff were really friendly.
Bar shut very early.
Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. Good food.
It was my wife's 71st birthday and we had travelled with our 3 grand daughters to visit Durham and Beamish. I had brought a chocolate cake and the staff put it in a fridge for me and also gave us discount vouchers for Beamish. All of them very kind and helpful
Only one restaurant around hotel
Cleanliness and helpful staff.
Beds too high also needs arm chair.
Excellent service from a very efficient staff, both within the Inn itself and the adjoining Table Table restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable, with good facilities, and the adjoining rooms and corridors quiet and peaceful throughout our stay. Breakfast at Table Table was a most pleasurable experience: quick, efficient service, with an excellent buffet style range of foodstuffs and drinks on offer, plus a full English breakfast; superior in many respects to other, more pricey traditional hotels we've stayed at recently. Excellent value for money. The staff were friendly and extemely efficient, with a high degree of teamwork evident; a credit to the company. All in all, A VERY PLEASURABLE EXPERIENCE; friendly, helpful and efficient staff, good, clean facilities and a great breakfast too. GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY; we wil certainly use Premier Inns again and would wholeheartedly recommend the experience to others.
The room was spacious and clean. 30 minutes free wifi was good. The restaurant and breakfast was great.
We didn't realise was hotel was being painted. Our room was very pungent and so we needed to leve the window open. I did mention it to the staff but there were no other rooms available and the other option was find mother hotel! Not a good option at 8pm at night!
