Handy location for a family New Year celebration in a nearby Village. Very friendly staff who seem to really enjoy their interactions with guests - very refreshing and most welcoming.
Smoky smell at the entrance and reception which had drifted to rooms corridor. Poor food for dinner in nearby 'Fayre and Square' - breakfast was better.
Good location with easy access. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean well maintained room
We both suffer with arthritis and found the new beds too hard even with the mattress topper
The courteous staff so helpful
Lack of cask ale from the two redundant pumps. More variety of bottled beer would be good
The rooms were tired looking and cold. The attached pub served disgusting food
Friendly manner of reception girl and breakfast room host AND the importance you are placing on reminding (or even telling :) ) guests to be quiet so as to not disrupt other guests sleep. Excellent !
OVER ALL GOOD
Staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was very comfortable and clean. Slept really well as there was no excessive noise from the road or other guests. Great location for Newton Aycliffe and Darlington.
No fridge in the room.
Staff were excellent. Very friendly - advised of additional security as a solo female
Fact one night bookable Quiet, clean and comfortable
found staff very helpful and friendly .
no phone in room if wanted to make outside calls or to ring staff in reception.
Dirty under bed.
Only complaint was the room was a bit cold! I stayed in room 34 ...don't know if it was just my room.
Location next to Wacky Warehouse for kids! Room and beds were top quality as was everything else. We have turned into loyal Premier Inn customers through consistently excellent service and quality. Well done!
Location off A1 ideal to break journey from Scotland.Stayed one night pleased with room no complaints.
did not enjoy evening meal. Breakfast good but only one person on duty left replenishing slow.
Very poor sound insulation between floors. Bad night's sleep.
We booked at last minute, with only three rooms left. The 2 of us were given a room for four so it was a nice size and we had lots of room. It was clean and comfortable just what we needed. The receptionist that greeted us was really friendly and made an effort to help us anyway she could. :)
We were on the ground floor, the corridors to the room are quiet zones. However, in the morning they weren't that quiet. It was either other guests or the cleaners making far too much noise in a quiet zone. - also in the ground floor room we could here people moving around upstairs with doors banging and general noise. Check out wasn't until 12pm and after a late night home we were looking forward to a lie in. Ask for a room upstairs.
you put me in a disabled room No 1 VERY VERY noisy Had no sleep all night
Cleanliness, quality of room.
None of note.
overall a very pleasant stay
service in restaurant a bit slow , décor a little tired
All staff including housekeeping and reception could not have been more helpful or pleasant. It was a really pleasant stay even though only one night .would definately stay again
Clean room and bathroom.
Staff very helpful and accommodating, nothing too much trouble.
Can always depend on Premier Inn to provide consistant standard of quality and value
