Not enough bedside up upon arrival. Had two sleeping children and had to make up our own bed. Breakfast was nowhere near the standard you would expect from a premier inn
got to the hotel , I was charged for my son and his wifes room as they had a family room and I was booked in as mr X , not a good start , we will probably use this hotel again but they need to sort their booking system .
Friendly staff, lovely clean, bright accommodation. Star Inn next door serves good value tasty food.
Eating arrangements let you down. The chef had to be got out of bed and the manager still in his pyjamas had to be called from his bed. Only one young waitress was there and she was friendly but overworked running her tail off. Great pub but let down by manager not up to the job. You've really got problems here.
ROOMS AND HOTEL STAFF V.GOOD.
can rely on the standard of comfort in the room
The water pressure was very poor
One of the older Premier Inns and starting to show it's age. Would be helpful to have a note in the bedroom to say hairdryers are obtainable from the Reception now. Saves a panic !
Comfy bed as always and helpful staff.
the resturant next door
Location, Staff and catering facilities next door
The shower was a bit weak (pressure)
Comfortable bed, decent adjoining pub and clean.
Nothing! apart from the bath had a slight crack in it and it had been filled in. But that did not cause a problem as we had a shower anyway.
All oif it! Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well presented. Plenty of tea;coffee and milk.Got the room on a special deal well worth it. Good value for money. I'm going to use this hotel when I visit again.Meals in the pub were beautiful.
The noise people where making upstairs - they spent the whole evening and morning from 5am banging around, backwards and forwards
The mattress topper, really nice ;)
Road works early in morning and people talking very loudly outside our room which work us up
It got quite stuffy and I couldn't open the window, there was no hair dryer so id had a bath and got out and just sat and waited for my hair to dry naturally.
Room smelt dusty, was dusty. cold on a january day, standard heater wasn't adequate, hepful staff brought portable. No bar of soap, just a liguid sqeezy bottle stuck innaccessably to the wall--bring your own soap!
simple, no frills, basic. Good size of room.
Breakfast in the pub next door. Veggie sausages hard. We have stayed in Prem.Inns before and breakfast was better served in the hotel
The cleanliness and the comfortable bed.
The old buildings in town and the pub on site gave an excellent service for 3 meals a day.
The breakfast was very disappointing. The bread was awful, the portions tiny and very expensive for what it was.
Friendly staff, clean large comfortable room
The food and staff at the Star pub just across from the hotel were excellent . We will visit again .
price for value is OK good, clean room WIFI is 3 pound, but is fast
It was cozy and warm, clean and tidy with excellent receptionist staff
Bed too firm breakfast at the pub was poor and very cold in there
The location was good room was clean and staff were great
I enjoyed my stay, althow it was a short one.do it again if had to thank you very much.
Buffet continental breakfast. Whilst a buffet is fine provided it is well maintained and serviced, this was not the case here. One morning, the coffee was virtually cold. The only marmalade on offer was Golden Shred, whilst the toaster burned one side of the bread leaving the other side virtually undone. To be charged over £6 for this was disgraceful. Get your act together!
Room facilities good Bed very comfortable
