clean and cheap
restaurant food was horrendous
Excellent breakfast Happy smiling helpful staff
Friendly staff Restaurant / Bar Quiet Walking distance to terminal
very friendly helpful staff all information given on arrival. nothing too much trouble
nothing at all would highly recommend
Silence Cleanliness Closeness to Airport
High speed Wifi charged Very slow food service
rooms very clean, comfy big beds. On site restaurant.
20 min walk to airport, thought it would be closer.
We only stayed one night but the staff was really friendly. Although we didn't have breakfast at the hotel we loved their early continental breakfast option from 4am.
Staff very helpful a good nights sleep for are journey texts morrning
The cold weather
Excellent service throughout our stay. The family room was just right with a double and 2 singles. Very clean and tidy. Room was comfortably warm. Staff were very friendly and very helpful, especially the lady serving breakfast, apologies for not remembering her name!
Very small downside was the fact that the temperature on the back staircase was very cold and could do with a little heating.
It was extremely comfortable and the staff were efficient and friendly. The room an bed were comfortable and quiet and the restaurant meal was very pleasant. I will be using East Midlands Airport a lot this year but will try a hotel nearer the airport next time. Shame a shuttle bus would make all the difference
The location and the fact they don't do a shuttle bus. £6 taxi to get to it and £6 the next day to get to the airport makes it much more expensive
Pretty much everything!
Pretty much nothing! (Except the wifi was very slow!)
staff very polite and helpful
Comfort of room and price. Dinner menu was good, although I had to send my soup back because it was only warm. however it was very good, carrott and coriander
NO telephone in our room and no instructions how to set the alarm on the tv. If my husband had been travelling by himself the would not know how to set the alarm
Excellent restaurant and very friendly staff. Get a good price from booking.com and you can't really go wrong.
Rooms are a bit small if you're travelling with kids.
Nothing at all
In particular the morning staff, Ashley excellent, as Jade and the. Morning chef. All round helpful especially with bring frozen up with the car in the morning. All helped us. Definately recommend.
We liked the friendliness of the staff, if it hadn't been for them we wouldn't have eaten for 12hrs. Then we had to order a takeaway from a local Indian . But all in all it was a good stay.
We stayed at Premier because of the weather, and landed at East Midlands at 8-30pm. Got to the Premier at just after 9pm on the 28th Dec. The Restaraunt had just that minute closed, they couldn't even Russell. Up a sandwich, not happy, after traveling. And the Breakfast was very slow we gave our order then waited 1hr, in the end we complained, and got a dried up excuse for a fried breakfast. The were really understaffed, but the ones that were working did all they could to help. Not sure we would stay there again. And we use East Midlands about 4 or 5 Times a year.
Staff were keen to help, efficient and pleasant. Food was excellent and very good value.
The cold coming off the windows in dining area.
We stayed due to bad weather conditions we could not buy a drink for over 30 minutes due to cashing up only one set of towels in room not up to usual standard
The hotel was excellent. Beds comfortable and everything super clean. Tony, who was at the reception, was super friendly a well both at check in and check out. would definitely stay here again.
vending machine would only give me diet coke saying the slot for normal coke was empty (it was not).
Friendly staff, proximity to m1
The room was boiling, windows opened a tiny bit so an uncomfortable sleep. Would have complained but it was late and kids were trying to go to sleep.
I stay in lots of Premiers - this is one of the better ones. Spot on. Room fine, big car park. 2 mins drive to E Mids long stay car parks.
Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive - a credit to Premier Inns. Very little noise from airport considering its proximity. Comfortable bed. Good food.
Being asked 3 times by different staff if my meal was ok. I know they're dong their job, but once would have been enough.
