The staff couldn't have been better. All were friendly, polite and helpful, even the cleaners. Beds were really comfortable and we liked that there were two types of pillow available. The croissants!

The whole family could stay together, the breakfast was late so we could get up at our own times yet still be together, there was space for children to play without disturbing other visitors, and we had easy access to all the city sights.

The staff were more than helpful at all times and the place was immaculate. The traffic was a bit noisy.I think the family rooms should be located at the back of the hotel where it wouldn't be as noisy.

Staff very courteous and friendly No bedside light - bulb broken. Bed not comfortable and a small double at 4ft6in. Had to queue 20 mins for a table for breakfast in spite of pre paying.Just as well this was a leisure trip as would not have had the time to wait on business.

Friendly staff, fairly priced restaurant, clean rooms. Internet was very poor, not much better than an old dial-up. After talking to my friends who also stayed there, it seems that rooms in the back side has poor internet and the front side has acceptable internet. Body lotion and wash clothes will be welcome additions in the bathroom.

Quiet room, comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Staff reacted quickly to problems that they could handle. Willingness to offer a refund when mentioning the 'didn't like' points. Queues queues queues. Queues for the lifts, queues for reception, queues for getting into breakfast, queues at the coffee machine. Facilities are inadequate for the number of people staying. Only one hand-towel between 2 people. Shower gel ran out, not replaced. BBC radio didn't work when selected on the TV menu. No 2-pin point in bathroom for power toothbrush charger. The shaver point is too high, charger lead not long enough. No coat hooks. No drawers for clothes. (Room is certainly large enough for a bit more storage furniture). Two tea bags not enough, for a double room. Should be 4 at least.

Very clean hotel with good breakfast. Room is spacy, hot shower with bathtub. Staffs are very friendly. I recommend this hotel when staying Edinburgh. Parking was slight expensive, would be better to set below 5Euro/day.
