Spacious room Friendly and helpful staff Comfortable bed
Breakfast was great, rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful-exceeded our expectations for the money we paid.
warm welcome from Graham on arrival. Nice clean comfortable room. Lovely breakfast. Lovely staff. About 8 minute walk to Princes Street.
Staff were very pleasant.
Room was cold..
Nice staff, my bed was comfy, rate for family room was reasonable, breakfast tasty and free for kids which made it great value
One of the spare beds was really uncomfortable so daughter wouldn't sleep on it, system for seating people for breakfast was terrible - people waiting for over 15mins there were 4-5 empty tables I could see the whole time we were eating - crazy!
Very good value for Edinburgh.
Location was great for both rugby and nightlife
Not all rooms were available and ready at pre-communicated check-in time.
The hotel was in a very good location for sightseeing. Extremely helpful having own car park.
TV adverts emphasise a comfortable bed - something went horribly wrong with ours. We experienced two terrible nights sleep. We requested a disabled bedroom but were alarmed to find out this was not placed on the ground floor. How would a disabled person get down stairs in the event of a fire?
Absolutely everything, the spacious room and bathroom, comfortable beds, friendly and helpful reception staff, the location close to Lothian Road and Tollcross pubs, handy for bus and tram to airport. Didn't have time for breakfast so can't comment on the food
It was a really good located hotel, staff very help & friendly
Very friendly and helpful staff
Friendly staff, great meal, would definitely go back again
The lift wasn't working and we were on the top floor
Walking distance to the trams which was good with 2 young kids. Breakfast was a bit hectic . Staff really helpful would recommend.
Cleanliness of the hotel and friendliness of the receoption staff
Wait for dinner at hotel restaurant. in the end my family of 6 did not have dinner that night bcoz we were tired driving fr Lake District and didnt know where to eat
Price and central location.
Poor wifi and bathroom.
Friendly staff and good location for city centre as well as Murrayfield stadium. Great breakfast too !
Located near Haymarket. Brilliant transport links. Staff were very good. Breakfast excellent value. Rooms good. State there with my two daughters age 9 and 15 while having a short break. parking was good and staff were very accommodating and friendly. Bar restaurant facilities good.
Needs a wee refurbishment. looking a little tired. Other than that nothing didn't like.
Friendly helpful staff, comfort, meals.
Not one thing.
The hotel more than lived up to out expectations . Everyone we met were friendly, helpful and accommodating . We found standards very high within the hotel and other venues we frequented. All in all a relaxing, fun filled weekend.
centrally located, and was good value for money In house restaurant good and food tasty
Very friendly staff, excellent location.
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff at reception. Decent rooms with comfortable bed. Good parking. Excellent location i.e. Within walking distance of city centre.
So - so shower .Otherwise , hard to fault.
The hotel was well located with plenty of restaurant opportunities located in close vicinity to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. It's only a 5 minute bus ride or 10 minute walk into the centre (Prince's St) and the staff are well versed to be able to give advice. It's nice that the staff know the surrounding area and are happy to give out recommendations for restaurants and the like.
A down point was that the restaurant facilities are obviously not big enough for the number of rooms in the hotel. We stayed at the hotel when it was very busy and had to queue for 30 mins to be seated for breakfast. Also, on the same note, the 2 small lifts seem to be working at 100% when the hotel is busy and as such there was often a long wait for the lifts, especially in the morning as the cleaners seem to have to use these lifts as well as the customers.
Staff lovely and very helpful
Not too impressed with restaurant, food ok for 2 days but not for any longer.
