Premier Inn Edinburgh City Centre (Haymarket)    

Clean well appointed room. Very friendly staff.

Despite having heating off and window open, room was far too hot.

Staff were helpful, clean and comfortable.

Single bed... Too small.

Hotel is 5 minutes walk from haymarket train station. The breakfast is gorgeous, we also ate one night with an evening meal and that too was lovely. Definitely great value for money. Staff very welcoming and friendly. The hotel was clean and the rooms are very inviting. The beds......really comfy!! :)

The room we had was on the ground floor. Difficult to sleep due to traffic noise and doors in the hotel being banged.

service was very poor had to wait for breakfeast in a que the food was poor it flet I likewe were in a supermarket.

The hotel location was an ideal proximity to the city. The hotel car park was secure and reasonably priced. The hotel bar/restaurant had a good appetising menu and very attentive staff. The reception staff were excellent providing up to date routes through the roadworks.

We were allocated Rm 2 in light of my disability but traffic noise was overwhelming therefore we changed to Rm 1 which overlooked the car park and was much quieter. Rm 2 had floor to ceiling windows looking out onto pavement and although partly obscured didn't feel at all private. The roadworks were a nightmare!

It wasnt too far from te marathon start

I thought ourstay was hugely overpriced £238 for two nights is a disgrace, neither my partner or myself slept well bexause if the comotion outside. Not happy at all really.

Staff were able to let us into room early, breakfast was outstanding. Staff catered really well for us marathon runners. Extra bananas and water in reception, with porridge on demand the day of the race.

The efficient service for a reasonable price

Clean room, comfy bed. Excellent breakfast - plenty of choice, all food kept well replenished. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast staff worked really hard as the restaurant was manically busy but they cleared tables, kept things topped up and provided special orders (porridge, poached eggs etc) quickly and with a smile.

Nothing to dislike. It would have been nice if it had been a little closer to Princes Street, Royal Mile etc but the walk kept us fit and helped wear off the effects of the breakfast!

Not special but a nice hotel in a good location. Restaurant good value at dinner time.

No continental breakfast available - just a fry up or "grab and go". We ended up buying diy breakfast at the co-op!

The staff was very friendly and service-minded :-)! The breakfast was very good, too! The hotel was located near to the main shopping-streets and sights in Edinburgh!
