I stayed in premier inn for 6 nights and everything was great.the staff was really helpful and kind and the room was very clean and tidy everyday. The price is very good for the type of the room (room with double bed).it was also luxurious and beautiful. 10 minutes from the centre of edinburgh and a nice location next to lauriston gardens in old town. Really satisfaying! The room wasn't warm enough and there was no view (from my room). Also I think that the price is good but there should be at least breakfast included. Also to eat in the restaurant you must have pre-booked the table, at christmas holidays where I was. Finally, booking.com ensure me that I can pay via maestro card but when I got there the staff told me that the don't accept maestro.

All the staff had a helpful and friendly attitude. The room and public areas were pleasantly furnished and decorated in a modern style. We had breakfast and dinner twice in the restaurant - the food was very well prepared and presented. The 'Meal Deal' makes eating in the hotel very good value, without sacrificing quality. The overall cost was very competitive. No free wifi - unlike in Europe, British hotels don't seem to offer this.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was well maintained and of a good size. The bathroom was also clean. Check in was very friendly and professional. The only thing missing was the free internet.

The room was not too big, but comfortable and nice. Room facilities were good. The service was also very nice and helpful. The breakfast is of good value of money. And the location is great, not too close to the city center to have the whole noise, but this close enough to reach every attraction within 10-15 minutes of walking. The hotel decision was great. We were very happy with it. The only thing we did not like, that we could not open the window of the room and because of this, after 2 days it got quite hot in the room. But, everything else was perfect.

I liked best the confortable bed and all the room. I did not like a toaster during the breakfast because it always burned the bread.

Good, central location, near to town etc, with a comfortable walk to both. The price goes up for the 6 nations rugby matches, although most hotels do this I find it extremely annoying, cashing in on an already expensive break.

The hotel is in a great location, a very short walk to the castle and Princes St. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough to help. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast very nice. Would definately stay again and would recommend to anyone. Best Premier Inn we have stayed in.

We enjoy staying at Premier Inn. It's comfortable and situated very close to everything! We would like to have a pair of slippers in the room , but as we understand none of the Premier Inns has that kind of service.

Location and value. Also one of the most helpful receptionists we have ever met. Noise from drunken guests charging up and down the corridor at 3.00 am

Although we had a good stay and the staff were nice, our room was very noisy. On the Friday night we could hear a lot of noise coming from the room Next to us and throughout the night there was noise and very loud snoring.Saturday morning the same room was being cleaned at 10am And the noise again was very very loud. A lot of banging.

I trust the Good Night's Sleep guarantee and that is the main reason I stay there. Also, the beds are large and firm---excellent for our backs! Rooms are of a very good size for the price we paid. Staff are always helpful, warm and welcoming. I like the 3 choices of breakfasts--fully cooked, continental and 'grab and go.'
