Score from 465 reviews Very good
Helpful friendly staff, very comfortable and clean room
Although perfectly located for our purposes, not well located for an Edinburgh City break
Room, comfort, location
Reception area, price of drinks
The staff and restaurant staff were 1st Class.
No Hot Chocolate in the room. Unfortunately Wife only drinks hot chocolate
Breakfast was slow and suffered from a poor level of cooking. Eggs requested over-easy, were rubbery and overcooked. Had we had more time I would have sent them back
On the whole, the hotel was satisfactory.
Did not like the bathroom! The bath was too high and the bath was very slippery. Would suggest that they put some non-slip mat in the bath before somebody have a fall.
really good restaurant on site and just off the main road so easy access for edinburgh airport the next moening.
Staff were very nice. Quiet rooms.
We loved how clean the room was. We have never seen a bath solution for wheelchair users; only showers. We are now redesigning our bathroom to keep our wet room but have the same bath solution. We should also mention the staff were great. Front desk is your first impression and the staff were excellent and friendly. I bought my wife a small teddy bear when we first met. 'Tatters' comes on all our journeys. When we went out for the day, I put Tatters on the pillow. When we came back the cleaner had made the bed and put Tatters to bed, tucking the quilt under his chin. It made us smile and highly recommend this particular Premier Inn.
We honestly cannot think of anything we disliked about the hotel. For a young disabled couple everything was catered for.
Staff were very helpful, calling taxis and providing directions Lots of parking
Really friendly helpful staff. Very clean rooms, lovely comfy beds. Would definately use this hotel again
Free parking, close to eating place, good location for wedding we were attending
No iron in the room. Only one large towel but room booked for two adults. Air conditioning wasn't very cool
We had a comfortable night. We slept well and were refreshed in the morning.
The climb!!!!! BUT we were well informed about it in advance
Lovely comfortable bed
Thought breakfast should have been included in the rate. It was our most expensive overnight stay of our short break.
girl at reception really nice and helpful which is nice to see these days
would have liked it to be nearer dalkeith town centre
We were down for Tough Mudder and the staff were very helpful in explaining where we were in relation to it. They booked us suitable transport to get there and were all in all great! No complaints at all, thanks
Nothing to not like
Angela on reception very friendly & great at her job! Will be staying next year again for TM
The restaurant staff should learn some customer service skills & take ownership of situations & problems that arise.
Clean, good service, friendly and very helpful staff, comfortable stay
At 06:00 there was a mass exodus of personnel from the rooms, all the doors would bang shut....soft door closures would prevent the noise and not wake the other guests
Staff was really friendly and helpful
The mattress of the bed was very uncomfortable. My husband and i kept rolling of the bed because the middle was firm and the sides were gone. would have prefered better quallity of mattress.
Nice place behind the range.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
Efficient stop over place. Clean and fresh. Does what it says on the tin.
Wasn't so keen on having to eat next door. Other options for food were quite far away and hard to find if you were not from the area.
It was my birthday and I got a card and chocolates from the hotel. That was more than I would expect from a premier inn
Great location for the area on business
