staff were very helpful when we asked for extra towels and we're always very pleasant
did not have a great selection if alcohols in bar
I Loved the friendliness of all staff and the location, we asked for a change of room as I had forgotten to ask for a castle view, the lady Rebecca I think couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. It was lovely to see that the simplest of life's little gifts (good manners) and customer service were in abundance. We would most definitely stay again and have no hesitation to recommend to our friends and family.
Only one personal dislike, mushrooms lying in too much fat/ butter & maybe an added bonus would have been black pudding, and the fresh fruit selection could have a little more choice. However the staff I am sure would have changed anything had we wished to ask.
Comfy bed, great location, friendly staff.
Slow wifi and you have to pay for the faster speed
Location was excellent and staff were fab
I stay in premier inn in dublin the beds in Edinburgh were not as comfortable I was disappointed
I had a macdonalds at 3.AM and they were understanding of the complete mess i caused :)
Had to go all the way to the st pavement to smoke
Really central location but rather quiet at night. Facilities are modern and tidy with everything you would expect from a level of Premier Inn.
1) The closest parking is 8 minutes walking distance away that means you have to carry your luggage for that long. I have heard the hotel might help carry luggage for you but we did not use the service due to we check-in at midnight. 2) Breakfast was not included in the booking fee.
this hotel is in a perfect location and very reasonable price.we went to a concert at usher hall which was a mere stroll.the hotel itself is cosy, comfortable, peaceful and the staff were approachable and friendly.its by far one of the best hotels i have stayed in.
there is honestly nothing i didnt like will definitey visit again
Staff very helpful.
Nice big room, very comfortable bed.
Slightly vibe-less hotel. Automatic check-in was impersonal.
Our room looked out at the castle you couldn't wish for a better view, also close to shops, trains and trams, a great base to explore from.
Premier inn needs to do something about its internet provider arqiva is useless every premier inn (7 sites in a month)have had poor strength, one had no coverage in room so we had to sit In the hallway
Enjoy my stay
We did not like not having a frig or a microwave.
Parking could have been managed better or could have refunded the parking bill atleast.
Perfect location for exploring beautiful city.
Heating system failed 5 nights in 6night stay. It wasn't heating the room and when they try to heat up room system doesn't allow to heat more than 2hours. It switches itself to cooling automatically whatever you do. At the last day even we shut down air con it started itself in an unknown way to cool the room. Staff tried to sort the issue but their attempts were pointless for this non brainer heating system. Do not try to change your room. We did but nothing changed! If you are OK with 15-19 degrees temperature in a freezing(0 degree) night it is a perfect hotel in terms of location. You can explore city as we did. But it is better to spend more time in the lobby area as it is warmer than your room!
The staff were great. The breakfast had a good choice of food, but could have been a bit warmer. We had a good room on sixth floor with a view on to the castle
The price of tonic water to mix with my vodka was about £1-60 for a small bottle, can get a large bottle for 60 pence outside
Castle view. Central. reception staff, very helpful, especially Christopher. Staff in general, very good.
Coming away. Car'nt wait for our next trip.
The hotel was only a 10 minute walk from Waverley Station. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent value.
great location. close to everything and we were lucky enough to get castle view. very friendly and knowledgeable staff
found bed and pillows a little hard
Hotel Very good and a great A great location for the castle And shops really enjoyed and will be coming back.
Just having to pay after 30 minutes for wi-fi.
Good location and excellent choice of breakfast.
Nothing to dislike.
Location, friendly staff, price
Cannot open windows in room so stuffy and a stale odour
I loved the views to the castle from my bed. The room was spacious, warm and clean. Good hotel choice to be in the city centre.
Fantastic good castle view. Easy access to everywhere.
No shower caps in the bathroom.
