The warm welcome and very helpful staff the food was excellent in a pleasant clean restaurant. The position of Inn being Princess Street made it ideal for shopping and going places.
Leaving the place
We had a quite room on the 6th floor facing the Castle across from the gardens. We walked everywhere - excellent restaurants and all sights and museums with not one bit of bother. A great way to this terrific touristy town!!
Breakfast & Staff.
Bathroom floor needed cleaning.
The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Food was good with plenty of choice at breakfast. Room very clean.
The room was a bit dark as it faced onto a concrete wall.
I requested a quiet room and overlooking edinburgh castle--- they never failed my expectations. Our room viewed the beautiful castle!! The place is excellent coz its accessable to train station which just few minutes walk away and excellent location for shopping! An Oxford street in London.Breakfast we definitely enjoyed the food. Definitely highly recommend this place and come back. The staffs are friendly too.
Never mind the excellent location & well kept rooms & facilities, what made this Premier Inn stand out was the staff, who were cheerful, accommodating & professional throughout. We were there by chance on the night of the Festival fireworks & the duty manager (whose name I wish I'd written down, along with the receptionist- nothing was any trouble for her)did everything in her remit to enhance our experience of the spectacle. This attitude was typical of all staff.
1. The breakfast buffet was superb: welcoming, tasty, rich and varied. Helpful staff as well. 2. Hotel staff was very helpful and kind 3. The view from our window (facing the castle) was the best we ever had in any hotel ever. 4. Overall, great value for our money.
As a family of four, we received a room with one King size bed, one Twin and one extra "cot" bed. The room was somewhat crammed, and the cot was hard, very narrow and uncomfortable (my adolescent son fell from it on the floor in the middle of the night).
Nothing was a problem
Great location in easy walking distance from all attractions. Large room very clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and food very good.
Nothing not to like everything was excellent.
Everything...location,price,staff, service, requests adhered too, food, clean and can't wait to go back or highly recommended to others.....thank you for a wonderful time!
Hotel we'll placed had a fantastic view of the castle from room 621 ,the bed really was as comfortable as they advertise, the staff were helpful and friendly gardens to relax opposite despite the central position you will need stamina and a good pair of shoes to get around, loads of eating and drinking places available and the Tattoo was great
The meal in the hotel restaurant the evening we arrived could have been better, pity they didn't do all day breakfast. because that was good
Spacious Room. Breakfast. Positive Staff. View. No Noise.
Bathroom Floor needed better cleaning.
barrier-free travelling, very friendly staff, always eager to help, great location
no windows, no toiöet brush, mattress not comfy
Everything, beginning from the location, the room was large with a fantastic view of the castle (we asked for it when booking), good air-conditioning,helpful staff, breakfast, cleanliness, etc.
A poor wifi access, no connection at all from our room (6th floor) and a fixed window which one cannot open for a bit of fresh air.
Staff Breakfast Location
The view was awesome !! Location was perfect for sightseeing and shopping.
No free wifi...only get 30 minutes a day.
The location is perfect, the view could not be better, the staff couldn't be more helpful. Our second stay here and quite frankly if we go back to Edinburgh we wouldn't stay anywhere else.
Great Service from all of the staff. Outstanding hospitality
Roll away bed for our second child was uncomfortable - not quite the good night sleep that Premier Inn is aiming for
For a family we couldn't fault the room layout, extremely high level of service & the location was spot on!
Reasonably priced breakfast with good choices and fabulous view of the castle convenient location - everything including the station within walking distance very friendly and helpful staff
Would have preferred continous free wi-fi - it wasn't expensive so why not just include within the price - esp when you can go to elsewhere at no cost
The breakfast was GREAT,good, modern looking rooms with comfortable beds and pillows.
No extra chair, smaller room than expected and NO coffee/tea provided and TINY water flow,I can't shower at all. Also smells a teensy bit of odor(pipes?) but the odor didn't effect our stay
great location very clean
good breakfast, splendid location, yet quiet, everything clean and a smile every day
Excellent location, staff were lovely and helpful.
