Had hardly any sleep over the four nights I stayed. The heating system was so noisy even though I didn't have it on. Every ten mins it kicked in sounding like a kettle boiling the then like the emptying of a bath. I complained twice, wasn't offered an alternative room or received any feed back.
Train station across the road, perfect for shopping, comfy beds, large quiet rooms. Great buffet breakfast and friendly staff. Have stayed here many times. There are 3 car parks, the 3rd on the other side of rail crossing,is only £5.50 for 24hrs (only 5mins walk).
everything else was O K
TV dark picture and sound barely audible
room,staff polite and courtious,food excellent.service excellent.
Location - right opposite Exeter St Davids station
I liked the price considering it was New Years day
The room was overtly hot, and the TV volume would not raise past twenty
Yes, the bed was great but more importantly the staff were friendly and helpful. I did have a little problem with my wifi, but all was sorted quickly. Also no problem in leaving luggage after checkout to store for a later train. Good experience.
Only spent one night so didn't have time to check out the food.
Bath and comfy pillows
Being charged. More than what was advertised on booking .com Which I had to complain to management .
Easy to find, good parking, really nice breakfast
It was very nice and will plan our next stay over here too. Staff was friendly, service was very good and room comfortable.... Well done!
As ever you know what you are going to get: professional staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds.
Parking is a major issue and something that needs to be addressed before I return. Paying for wifi - my bugbear. It really should be included.
So close to Exeter St Davids but not noisy. Also close to bus stop. Duvets great - went out and bought one! Wonderful that there was a bath and a shower - being a bath person. Excellent breakfasts
Bit of a fiddle to adjust heating, but got it sorted
The staff are all welcoming and pleasant. The location opposite the train station is ideal. The room was large and comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent.
Very poor mobile signal. Near enough non-existent 3G/4G reception. Due to the poor mobile signal, could not use my mifi. No car parking - although the station carpark is convenient.
The staff were all fantastic!!
Bathrooms smelt awful in both my room and my sisters which was next door. Key card did not work first time and had to wait a long time for receptionist to attend desk to get it sorted
Really good staff. Quiet. Slept really well.
No biscuits. Breakfast was expensive considering £90 room price.
Staff very courteous and breakfast execrllent
Booking.com had booked a disabled room which although very clean and comfortable was not what we were after and it could have deprived someone who actually required this type of room
I like the closeness with Exeter st Davids station.
Our door entry card wouldnt work. The staff gave us up to maybe 5 more cards, of which none opened the door. The staff had to use their master key to let us in. The rooms overlooking the pathway can be very noisey on a Saturday night.
Close to station, size of room, quality of bed
Breakfast good in quantity but short on quality
situation, property, cleanliness, staff
Comfortable, clean and large rooms. Handy having such a lovely place to eat attached to hotel.
Poor service at desk although there were two self service machines which are easy to use.
It a good location for trains & buses.
No parking on hotel site, but the train station car park is on the opposite side of the road.
Great to have a family room with proper beds for teenage children!
Hotel staff friendly and room very clean.
Room very hot and fan cooler very loud. So you had to put up with one or other. We tried to open window but they were digging up the street outside. The room was ready for us even though we arrived in the evening.
