All the staff were very helpful and friendly we would stay again
I tried to connect to the internet it connected but kept losing the connection. We were staying in room 104
The staff were very polite and the adjoining restaurant had nice food
As it was valentines day there was very few rooms available, we had to take a disabled room. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable, the springs would hit you no matter where you lay, you could here people moving around above as the floor boards sounded like they were lose even just walking to the toilet created so much noise I was afraid to wake up the neighbours, you could hear a baby crying from across the hall and the shower was extremely disappointing. I am sure if we could of had a different room it would of been a much more comfortable stay
Really good selection at the breakfast buffet
Room was spacious, warm and clean, comfy bed, large television and very quiet.
Bar area is too small and not very comfortable. In my opinion WIFI should be free
Quiet and Warm
Helpfulness of the staff and great location
The staff were friendly and everything is very clean
good location good breakfast good soundproofing
kept waiting 1 hour for dinner dinner overcooked - didn't eat (not charged) cleaner never swept the floor in bathroom (dead fly there for 4 days)
Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and tidy. Comfortable stay.
As always the adjoining restaurant/pub is always booked up for evening meals. So if you arrive late afternoon you either eat late or find an alternative location.
Location perfect for longleat easy to find. Left item in room will collect at some point
Needs a relaxing lounge so can sit for evening drink
Rooms wasn't clean ,dirt floor dusty furniture',first night we stayed we had no hot water ,heater didn't work either . No hairdryer in our room , l tough staff was helpfull.
Very clean and tidy, good food , very comfortable bed.
When neighbouring pub refused to server food at 5pm because they were going to be full at 9pm - the manager had a quiet word to them and we were served food. Thanks to him we did not have to go out in search of another place.
Faulty bathroom light switch.
The staff were really friendly and accommodating. We spent the first night on the ground floor and unfortunately had noisey people above us who kept us awake past 12am. We asked the receptionist if she could have a word which she did and the noise subsided. Due to this for the second night we were moved to a quieter part and had a great nights sleep.
Lovely staff and breakfast
Bed!!! Was awful very hard both hubby and I had terrible night and treadful aching backs in the morning!
The staff were excellent and the bar manager of frome flyer was fantastic
The extremely hard bed resulting in no sleep
Convenience of location for us, very friendly welcome, clean room, quiet as requested.
Don't stay for the view - it's on the edge of an industrial site! And it's true the hotel is not a pretty sight at the moment. But they are doing their best.
The shower in the accessible room was very good
It was just what you need after a day out, a night away too!! Lovely thank you
Building works around. Bed was uncomfortable. Had to go down to reception for towels.
Every thing was excellent apart from see below
Mattress on bed wasn't comfortable found it a bit to hard for us
Room size, restaurant, the staff and it was very close to longleat :)
Some cars were double parked so that was annoying, we ran out of tissue, it was very loud in the hallways... people running up and down drunk.
The fact that we were not told that the hotel is a building site. There was scaffolding outside the windows of our room. The workmen who were obviously staying at the hotel had little or no respect for the fact that it was a hotel and carried all the mud etc up the stairs and along the corridors. Not a very enchanting place to spend our 50th wedding anniversary.
