Premier Inn London Gatwick Airport South (London Road)  

Attached to a reasonable restaurant close to the airport but not right on it..

So near to Gatwick Airport. Good restaurant. Plenty of free parking.

Cleanliness Friendly and helpful staff

Difficult to locate as so many Premier Inns in the same area that it wasn't clear which one was the Gatwick South. Signs need to be more specific and illuminated as they are impossible to see in the dark.

Location, bar/restaurant on site. Rooms were clean and comfortable, large bed. Restaurant prices were good too.

The staff were very helpful and very pleasant. A real credit to the Premier Inn group. Excellent attitude.

Service staff were so accommodating and friendly, room was clean and everything I needed was there and simple to use. It felt like I received a lot for the price I paid.

The breakfast that I paid to have included with my room price was disappointing.

The proximity to Gatwick Airport

I did not like the fact t hat the fan in the shower room remained active for such a long period of time. It kept me awake to such an extent that I would like to invoke the Premier Inn guarantee of a good night's sleep.

The room was booked for me for my step mother on her credit card - she was going on a business trip and I was going on a different flight. However, I was told that I could not have a room key for that booking without having the card with me. However, if I did not stay the credit card would be charged anyway. I had to wake my mother in the middle of the night to pay (on another card) so I could sleep in the bed we had booked - when you would have charged the credit card details you had if I had slept in the car park.

The hotel rooms are very clean and tidy, and the hotel staff were very helpful and quickly sorted out as best they could any problems the guests may have.

The breakfast service was extremely slow. Not enough staff to top up the food which left people waiting a long time. Certain staff was very rude when I politely asked for some glasses to be brought out.

The location was great and set back from the road. The surroundings made you feel like you were in the countryside. I would definitely use again.

I booked this hotel for my parents for the night before their early morning departure. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The pub served delicious food and the bed was very comfy according to my folks. Definite thumbs up.

1. Distance from the airport. 2. Bus service to and from Gatwick not frequent enough. 3. We had a noisy family next door and the children tried to come through the adjoining door.
