Great breakfast, good heater in room. Staff very friendly.
Noisy air con or generator outside window.
Overall was great, especially if you going to VA, they are right across the street.
Only thing i would mention is fridge..
The staff were very friendly
The soap dispenser on the wall in the bath. Trying to squirt some soap on my hands meant having to stick my head under the shower spray and I was trying not to get my hair wet!
Almost everything is about first impression and your check in machines are horrible. I was very annoyed long before I got my key. That tainted the entire stay. WiFi.. I was online everywhere exept my room. Both tabllet and phone worked fine just a few steps outside my room but not in it. I would rate you weakest of the 6 hotells i stayed in this trip.
Stayed overnight prior to a flight at Gatwick. The reception staff and breakfast staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The lady who greeted us for breakfast went out of her way to be helpful, showing us where everything was, talking to the children about their upcoming holiday and finding colouring for them to take away. It makes a difference and was appreciated.
The front desk is very pleasant and welcoming. the floors are noise proof. you can really sleep well. the breakfast is good and the location is great for my work.
the WiFi should be made free for all the money that is charged the 30 minute free WiFi is sad.
Proximity to Gatwick Airport. Restaurant food was very good for both dinner and breakfast. Very friendly staff.
They dont have room service for food
Modern, clean, friendly
Wanted to buy a bottle of water from the dispense machine as cheaper than purchasing in the bar. Machine was broken and ended paying nearly £2.00 for a small bottle of water from bar. Large bottle was nearly £3.00!! Way too expensive. I felt I should have been charged the same price as I would have paid if purchasing from machine. Found it really surprising there was no shuttle bus to gatwick airport .
No warning of multiple Premier Inns at Gatwick
Staff efficient, hotel well looked after, restaurant within the hotel. Price competitive in late September
Good comfortable bed Nice breakfast Clean bath tub
A good bed deserves a good pillow No free Wi-Fi No shuttle from the airport
Free parking Breakfast price
Bathrooms compared to others of the same class/prices That they charge the wifi
Typical premier inn
The hotel is in another town called Crawley. The main airport hotel told me there was not a bus to the hotel after midnight, and called me an £11 taxi (a friend?!) for a ten minute ride. I feel cheated!
Could have more complimentary coffee, and maybe decaf
I like that there is a restaurant and bar on site.
That there is no timetable in the hotel for the local transport to the airport.
huge comfy bed V clean room and bathroom White linen and towels The price!
Location, but at least not noisy!
The bed was excellent with a choice of pillow softness. The room was quiet without disturbances from other guests or, indeed, its location. Will definitely look at premier inn first ahead of other hotel chains.
The staff were excellent. Food was excellent. Would definitely stay again.
Staff were great all round. Rooms very comfortable. A bath! Restaurant food better than other premier inns this year.
Slightly hard to find as situated in a business park. Went to the wrong one first but only a minor, further detour, following dreadful journey on the M25.
Everyone was very helpful and went out of their way to look after us especially Sharon in the restaurant - all very well run and convenient.
We were led to believe the bus service ran every 10 mins to Gatwick but not at 5 am so would have been helpful if we had been advised to take a taxi! Will know next time!
Very comfy bed. Helpful and personable staff.
There are 4 Premier Inns very close to each other and their individual names aren't clear. Not good at 4am having just arrived from the airport with 2 children. We drove to the one PI and realised it was the wrong one. The second one I got kids and luggage out of car only to be told it was the wrong hotel. Very distinct signposting would help.
The staff were all very pleasant and on hand to help if required. Good parking.
The noise from the road kept me awake for quite some time and even when I did eventually get to sleep I woke up a couple of times and by 6am decided to just get up. I did think being so close to Gatwick Airport it would be jet engines keeping me awake but did hear a single one. I was surprised how loud the road noise was even on the forth floor.
I loved everything about the hotel and would definitely stay there again now I know where it is
It took me an hour in the airport to find the bus stop to the hotel! It's not the place where all the other buses from the airport stop. After going around in circles, I finally found someone who took me down a back staircase and out of the airport and there was the bus stop (metro). Very good bus service right to the hotel. Suggest that the hotel creates a very clear map of directions as to how to exit the airport and find it. Maybe even put it on Google Maps!
We didn't plan anything on the day and decided to stay 10 minutes before booking as a surprise for the kids. I was presently surprised as to how organised the hotel was. The room was ready and everything ran smoothly so that the kids were very shocked and so happy at their surprise. Booking on-line last minute and reserving the room to check in was very quick and I am impressed.
The only 2 negatives were that the hotel's ice machine broke down and that they don't supply shower caps which is frustrating when the shower head cannot be removed and you don't want to wash your hair!
