Premier Inn Glasgow City (Buchanan Galleries)St. Andrew House, 141 Nile Street, Glasgow City Centre, Glasgow, G1 2RN (Show map)
Superb,
Score from 225 reviews
“ The efficiency of space and its location in the center is great. You have access to anything in walking distance and even if you dont, the subway is right there too. I dont know how old the hotel is but it looked as if it was build very recently since everything looks new and ready to use. Not to mention the sleepy moon logo, it perfectly fits the hotel as well! ”

So central and convenient for shops. Near concert hall and multiplex cinema, also the bus station Needs more drawer space and larger television screen. Will ask for handicapped room next time for a walk-in shower.

This Premier Inn is perfectly located right in the heart of Glasgow, and only a stone's throw from the Buchanan Street (the city's main shopping street). Amazing views from our surprisingly spacious room on the 17th floor, paired with a delicious breakfast featuring a wide variety of almost anything you can think of. Oh, and of course it was very clean, too. Sadly it is not possible to open the windows even the slightest bit. Meaning: you're breathing air conditioned oxygen every second you spend in the room. This didn't bother us initially, but got a little bit annoying as the days passed by.

Good central location, close to most of the points of interest. Car parking was very close and reasonable cost. Good shower. Large bedroom. Bed was not very comfortable and pillows could have been better.

Location; very comfortable No towel racks in bathroom for hand towel; not enough racks for wet towels; tub/shower VERY dangerous--high edge, slippery and too narrow inside; was afraid I'd fall. Why don't you just do walk in showers. No tissues either.

Great location right downtown by bus station...great for travel. Clean and comfortable...well maintained. Reception being on second floor and not much space in main hall by elevators....gets crowded quickly and difficult to maneuver through.

Great location. We only had a short stay in Glasgow unfortunately (1 night), but this hotel was one of the most comfortable we stayed in during our two-week trip through the uk. A very pleasant and friendly staff member greeted us on arrival and assisted us with the automated check-in process. We were very happy with the room - quiet, comfortable, clean and spacious, with a great view across Glasgow from the 14th floor. Excellent sound insulation - very solid.

Price was reasonable, and the room fairly large. Probably OK for a single business traveler on a short trip. Lots of little surprises, so we checked out early. First, the hotel phone number is a " premium number" in the uk. That means that the hotel charges the caller to call either the hotel and the room and moreover, the "xxx minutes of uk calling" from mobile phone plans don't apply, which makes it very expensive. We could hear the elevator, even a couple of rooms away, only 1 face towel was in the room, even though there were 2 people. Quite a hassle to get suitcases through the narrow halls with lots of doors, all requiring the cardkey to open. Overall, it's like a low-budget airline, with everything costing extra. We checked out early and found another hotel
