Score from 356 reviews Excellent
Hotel room clean and comfortable, staff very attentive.
Not good location, off busy road, town a bit drab
tv - toilet
bed pellows poor internet quality
Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and the bed was really comfortable. The location was great as it was next to the town centre, overall we had a comfortable pleasant stay
Rooms are a little basic, not much storage but fine for short stays.
stayed for a film festival and the location was ideal, just 5 mins drive to the theatre. rooms were nice and clean and staff friendly.
we slept in room 9 on the ground floor and found that there was a constant click on then hum then click off which we think was possibly the thermostat of some kind - it ran throughout the night waking us both up at various times. Had we been staying longer than one night we would have been complaining I think
The staff were excellent and very obliging, couldnt of asked for better.
The problem we had was the breakfast,we arrived down for it at 9.00am only to be told they were nt ready as did another couple hav the same experience.Due to this we had notime to wait, altho they giv us a complimentary lunch it stil meant the kids hadnt eaten before or journey. The tea was cold on all or visits to breakfast or lunch.Disappointed.
A great little Hotel with Friendly and Helpful Staff.
Can be difficult to find.
I wasnt allowed to charge drinks or food to my room
Good value and comfortable and clean accommodation with helpful staff.
The additional foldaway bed was less comfortable for an older child.
Mostly very pleasant staff.
Very basic facilities in actual hotel, slow service in adjacent Beefeater restaurant.
Breakfast at the Beefeeter next door was awful. The dining area was very dirty. We waited for 40 minutes for our order was taken. Chef didnt have a clue what he was doing. I have stayed in many Premier inn hotel's and have never experienced this kind of service before. The Hotel staff were excellent, just a pity that the staff in the Beefeeter spoiled our stay.
Friendliness & helpful staff Good quality food next door at the Dovecote. Easy to get to. Ideal for Glasgow visits.
Nothing - everything was fine.
£700 for 2 rooms and 2 nights.
Staff were very helpfull in advising us on busses and booking taxis for our recent visit to the games.
Excellent room. Bed extremely comfortable and a choice of pillow. Really quiet location, breakfast next day was really good. Staff were very helpful/polite. All made for a good weekend away. Would choose a Premier Inn again no problem.
Can think of nothing!
Staff and location excellent.
Bedroom in lower level too cold even in Summer needed heat up. King Burger chain food overlooking the room, not ideal place to be, needing curtains to be drawn in day light. TV at small at very low level, not ideal to watch when in bed. Bed seen better days needing review and maybe some changes. Too expensive for such a room location and comfort.
Staff were very helpful, friendly and approachable Location was ideal for where we needed to be - quite central for Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth. Food at Beefeater next door was lovely, and the staff there were brilliant, especially Anna.
Room was too warm - but did not detract from stay.
A friendly, courteous reception with great attention to detail and an obvious pride in what she was doing.
The lighting in The Beefeater at Breakfast time............dingy -- Obviosuly a subjective issue, but you asked :0)
Comfortable bed, clean room, value for money.
Too warm in room, Windows had to be closed to keep noise out. Bathroom very small, extractor fan didn't work. Outside noise travelled in through the fan!
Virtually everything except wifi. Peter Sim, Rio de Janeiro.
Wifi - paid for 24 hours, which were continuous, but it kept dropping out, last period was for more than 1.5 hours and maybe more as that was when we booked out.
Location and staff and the fact that it was a Premier Inn
pillow smelt of urine, drive in takeaway outside of room window, and floodlit, also the noise. had a very poor nights sleep
Clean and simple, hassle free.
Liked the room beds very comfortable
A bit of noise from pub but nothing bad.
The staff were friendly and helpful with useful knowledge of the local area The option to cancel the booking for free took alot of pressure of my stay
I felt £70 a night to be a little expensive Prehaps reduce the cost to say £50
The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. The room for a triple was wonderful needed a step ladder for the bed but a really good night sleep and so glad check out is 12pm as slept till 10pm. would recommend to friends if up that way.
no enough parking as we found it difficult to park and people using two spaces instead of just one so had to put our car slightly up a curb :-(
