We have been using the Premier Inn at Milngavie since it was first built. The warmth and friendliness of the Staff, the quality of the rooms and service is always excellent. you have seen us through thick and thin with family events, sad and joyful. When we were coming to the Commonwealth games to go with our grandchildren there was no question of where to stay. The train line and buses into Glasgow are brilliant and the location ensures peace and quiet at the end of an eventful day.

    NOTHING!

We came in late and were treated well. They were very helpful with making the room a family room when it wasn't ready.

Friendly and helpful staff. Due to an online admin error we'd been allocated a disabled access room ( we didn't need special access) right next to the main entrance, however they were able to move us to a more suitable room. The Beefeater restaurant was very good - and much better than Brewers Fayres that are attached to other Premier Inns.

Only a minor niggle, the hotel was getting a bit 'tired' compared to other Premier Inns we'd stayed in recently

Well sound-proofed rooms, comfortable bed and black-out curtains

Décor and Beefeater next door where you had breakfast looking a bit dated

The breakfast was a great spread with a lot of options and well worth the money. The room was clean. Staff here were super friendly!

We had a room for 4 and it was really squished with nowhere to walk. I would not put 4 people in a room that size. The cot they brought in was so hard our son slept with us in the large bed. Our bed was very hard too, though I am finding that seems to be normal in Europe. Also I was very suprised that there are no phones in the room, and none are provided except for local calls. This proved to be a huge nuisance as we couldn't easily call family even locally to coordinate. I honestly would have stayed somewhere else had I known that.

Staff at the hotel and restaurant were friendly and helpful

The hotel chain promises a good nights sleep or your money back, we did sleep but the mattress wasn't very comfortable. Our tea at breakfast time was made with water from a flask and had a metallic taste, why can't they use freshly boiled water?

The staff were extreamly helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

There could be a notice for any one who is disabled to park at the back of the hotel as access to the hotel is then on one level. A bay could easily be established there with a drop in the curb etc.
