Built in the 1400s, The George and Pilgrim is the oldest purpose-built pub in the South West of England. Situated in Glastonbury, it is steeped in history and old tales.

Friendly, helpful staff. High quality, clean accommodation. Good bed.
Only 1 tea bag for each guest seemed a bit mean !
location and quiet rooms
Bed too hard Arrangements in bar strange - paying before getting food.
It's a good base , just about within a comfortable walking distance from town centre
Queue at coffee machine
The staff were excellent as was the bed and pillows. The room size was better than anticipated but accept his was classified as a 'disabled' access room.
The shoddy build of the whole property. Hardly a solid wall, poor insulation, stud internal walls that amplified voices/TV and made worse by the existence of an interconnecting door to the room adjoining.
Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Impeccably clean.
Staff were very helpful Room was clean and bed was a nice size Restaurant food was lovely and staff were also very friendly
Breakfast was fine, as were receptionists. Good location.
Room could have been made up with more care and Brewer's Fayre was disappointing for evening meal.
The breakfast and evening meal was very good. A comfy room with air-conditioning made for a good nights sleep.
The bathroom was not as clean as I am use to in a premier inn.
Staff. Restaurant. Food. Fairly soundproof too.
You were very booked up with air show etc. We had two disabled rooms that were left. Probably not used much so when the loo was flushed or you had a shower the shower drain smelt of sewage. Hot water needs to be run regularly to stop smell. smell it in the carpark, so maybe you have a bigger problem. Thought rooms expensive.
It was clean
Located on a main road with sewage works at the back got out off the car and the smell was band. That's why I would think the windows did not open.No noise from outside but plenty from the floor above.Good night sleep you be lucky. We where not!
The location between Glastonbury and street.
We were in the disabled room 7 i think. The smell coming from the drains in the bathroom was dreadful. We have been promised a refund. I believe a plumber a was being called.
Convenient, clean and delivers everything you need for a stop off point. Doesn't over promise, does over deliver
Pillows were a little firm, suppose this is personal preference though. No phone in the room A little pricey for the type of hotel £75+ per night room only. This is obviously a busy destination though so can understand the higher price due to demand.
Having clean, comfy room with restaurant next door.
Could hear the people in the room above walking around (but PI know about this).
Beds not comfortable
Easy to find
Basic but clean
Never stayed at a Premier Inn before and was not expecting much to be honest but what a surprise! Large room, super comfortable bed and pillows all immaculate and spotless bathroom. Excellent breakfast at very reasonable cost and everyone of the staff very polite and helpful. Could not fault it and would certainly recommend and use again.
Nothing to dislike.
Clean a fair deal for the price. The colour scheme, purple works. Staff very welcoming and helpful.
The armchair is so poorly designed you slip out of it. Listening to other guests walking overhead. In other words poor insulation. No opening window. No toaster in the room. I had breakfast elsewhere. I don't want to listen to piped music.
Friendly and helpfull reception staff.
Only 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel for 4 people.
Fact that lots of cyclists staying meant the brewers fayre next door started breakfast 30mins earlier for our convenience
Prefer to be able to open windows and not use air con
Very friendly and helpful staff, particularly on reception. Easy to use keys. Cleanliness of rooms. Comfort of bed. Sound-proofing
Derelict buildings adjacent to hotel. Room slightly smaller than some PI's in which I've stayed previously
Room clean and comfortable. Plenty of space and a good sofa/extra bed to relax on. Lovely view from ONE side.
One window pane was cracked. Saw fewer staff than usual. Could see no reason why the price was so much higher than the Premier Inn Exeter where we stayed the previous week.
the spacious rooms
to far from glastonbury city centre
Mary the Manager was excellent. Very helpful and very hard working..
