Convenient to the M5 motorway. The breakfast was excellent at the Beefeater next door.
Nothing to dislike.
Not being informed that there were no breakfast facilities at this location before we arrived. Had we being told this I would have looked for a different hotel, which is what I will do in future.
No air con
We wanted to break our journey down to Taunton; this Premier Inn is in an excellent position not far from the M5. Staff very courteous and friendly, including the restaurant staff. Room comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good and nothing was too much trouble for the waitresses. We have used Little Witcombe before and always found it superb.
Could do with more than one easy chair in the room. Premier Inn have stopped producing their leaflet with the locations of all the Premier Inns - shame!
The room and beds were comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Fresh, new looking linen and towels. Helpful staff
The camp bed for 4th person was incredibly uncomfortable! Cooked breakfast at Beefeater next door was poor, service very slow and staff inattentive.
Very good beds.
No shaving socket in bath room
The website does not give the correct location of this Premier Inn and upon what I thought was my arrival at the correct destination, I discovered that I was in fact booked at another Premier Inn on the other side of Gloucester. As I had booked this from the USA and was going to a wedding this was extremely inconvenient. Please fix this error !! Also, why no lifts ?? How do disabled people manage ?? Not acceptable
comfy beds, good tv
dinner a bit 'chainy' i.e. bog standard
great staff, very clean. would stop again
we visited for annual cheese rolling. excellent location. restaurant just opposite hotel. staff were super and definitely added to the enjoyment of our stay - going the extra mile and sharing in our stories. cant fault them they were all great - with lots of helpful advice too
Very comfortable beds. Able to stay in room till 12 on morning of departure. Staff didn't hurry us over breakfast, although we came towards the end of the period.
We were overcharged by mistake and it took some time to get this sorted out.
Friendly staff Clean and comfortable
Food at the Beefeater especially at Breakfast where the wait for a cooked meal took 30 minutes.
Location nice and quite
If travelling with large suitcase only stairs
food was very good
Location, welcome, pub next door.
Rm 3 disabled room continual clicking noise.Near reception I suppose. Also not a king size bed.Why did we have a disabled room ?
Room was comfortable and definitely value for money. The added bonus was the adjoining beefeater pub which serves excellent food and has a great ambience
Very friendly staff - at reception and also at the adjoining Beefeater. Nothing too much trouble.
Very convenient for our destination
Room cold, my wife and I are both 80 and despite turning up the thermostat to 23 we couldn't get warm
excellent breakfast menu at great value
no shaver socket in bathroom
It was clean and bed was comfortable
The room was freezing the heating would only give a five minute blast of heat and then power off. No working vending machines was not acess to stinks or food at night
Staff and the beefeater facility,
The high price due to cheltenham races
Staff were friendly
It was cold heating only have a 5 minute blast of heat. Me and my friend now have colds since staying there as was literally shaking with the cold. Drinks and toiletries machine was broken so had to go to beefeater on other side if car park for a drink which was frustrating when really tired and cold
This was our second visit and we will be back next year for the racing.the staff were very efficient and our room was very clean. We couldn't fault it.
There wasn't anything we didn't like
The staff were exceptionally lovely and helpful both when we checked in and when we left in the morning. When we checked in the young man who served us told us all about the Premier Inn Goodnight Guarantee too, which I was unaware of before. Upon leaving, the ladies on reception listened to my concern about the hardness of the mattress, apologised and advised the solutions I've listed in the 'didn't like' box. Thank you.
You need better signage on the far side of the road as we drove past it a few times. In terms of comfort, the mattress was far too hard and, having a bad back, it was extremely uncomfortable for me. I had to lie on top of the duvet and fold it over myself. I advised the staff the next morning who apologised and said they were new mattresses and they had had a number of complaints and that they were expecting mattress toppers to arrive any day. They helpfully suggested that the next Premier Inn I stay in if I let them know at the time of booking they can make sure there is another duvet in my room in case I need to put it under me on the bed. Was very pleased that they listened and gave a solution.
