This is a nice place. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It is a wee bit far from the motorway than I would have liked but it's still a nice place with a nice restaurant.

Reception staff was really nice and helpfull, its good to have free carparking.

Room was very dusty, bathroom tap only gave out hot boiling water, no air conditioning, room was boiling, couldn't open the windows too much, no ice machine, no telephone in the room, the place needs updating,

I have found that Premier Inn staff to be very friendly and helpful, as the young girl was at this Hotel. Ideal location for Gloucester town center and Cathedral, also for Ross on Wye.

The only complaint if you can call it that is the furniture in the restaurant is dark, brown and outdated.

The room was clean, tidy and quiet.

We felt the breakfast was overpriced and the quality of the bread was mediocre. Service was a little lack lustre.

Great location, staff, food and comfy bed and pillows.

Bathroom smelt like stale urine. Room/duvet was too hot resulting in poor nights sleep.

    Helpfullness of staff

Twin rooms are not genuine twin rooms. The only real twin is No 23 and this is fine, though the bath is small. We have difficulty ensuring we get room 23. Pauline was very helpful in this respect

the room was clean and a good size for the price

We booked the room suitable for a disable person I suffer with a spine problems. I was able to get around the room ok and use the bath room. something to sit on in the bathroom would of been useful when you have balance problems. The main problem for us was the noise from the traffic it was warm we were unable to open the window due to sound outside are room was number 30 which is right by the door entrance so you get sound from cases being dragged in and out of the building you also get the sound from people accessing all the rooms which went on till late. I have spin problems not hearing problems so a good night sleep was not possible but something I could of done with. We also eat in the restaurant what a disaster we waited ages for are main meal we where offered a free drink but I would of prefured the food I had vegetarian meal not worth waiting for in the end. The girl serving us was very rushed off her feet and very pleasant. there was another young member of staff serving others when asked if he had cleaned tables for the next dinners he used the F word which we over heard. I now they where busy but there was children around we could hear what was said so I am sure others could. Would we come again no, did I sleep no did we enjoy are meal no

Liked the fact that the hotel was linked direct to the pub to enable ease of going for breakfast etc. Breakfast was very good and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Mix up by staff meant we had no bed linen for the 2 children's beds. However the night receptionist was very good and soon had the beds made up. Did not like the second single bed being so close to double bed and this restricted the space in the room.

Loved the fact that everything you could want was there, restaurant and bar on site was fab.. After a long day of site seeing I could just relax. Room was lovely relaxing/ comfortable large room, staff handled complaint very well and was extremely helpful when I had nosey neighbours for a night and refunded due to lack of sleep from disturbance. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. They were very friendly in conversation seeing I was travelling alone they made my stay very welcoming. I have more to see of Gloucester and will definitely return here when I come back !!

Only one small thing.... I had a few eve/lunch meals here and I didn't think the food was to a good standard for the price you pay. Saying that to end on a positive Breakfast was awesome !!!!
