Location to main road and local bus services Warmth of welcome Pre stay phone call Choice at breakfast Really cold a/c!
Staff excellent - friendly, professional and helpful. Particularly impressed that, having asked if we could check in early, they rang to tell us when room was ready. Room clean, bed comfortable.
Very overpriced basic accommodation, didn't like the non-opening windows (I accept we were warned about this). Quite a lot of noise from stairs and upper floor and horrible smell in the room which became quite nauseating through the night.
I asked for a quiet room and that was what I got. Bed was very comfortable and I got a good nights rest.
Minor irritations, for the high price I expect free WiFi for more than the limited 30mins! and more than 2 sachets of sugar for the tea/coffee. High price (£126 for a night) plus b'fast extra may be due to it being a bank holiday Saturday.
all the staff were great but the staff at Reception were especially so helpful & friendly - a lovely greeting and farewell - they were very approachable, which helped us to have a relaxing time. thank you
prefer 100% buffet breakfasts, rather than ordering the cooked (though you could always ask for more)
Nice personnel, comfy beds, good breakfast, varity of books and magazines
Unable to air the room, but due to building restriction to open windows. Bad smell in bathroom
The walk along the canal tow path into Godalming
the corridors were a bit of a rabbit warren
Loved the friendly check in staff, we were helped up the stairs with our luggage. Lovely quiet room with a bed for our son, tv and desk, and bathroom with bath and shower. We like staying here when we come back to visit friends in the area and the restaurant with beer garden overlooking the River Wey with children's play area makes it ideal for meeting up with other families and relaxing. The food is great and we were impressed with the breakfast selection. The lady who served us at breakfast couldn't have been more pleasant. Easy parking and right on the road for the next day's journey (though you wouldn't know it inside).
The wifi could be better, and it gets expensive
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and quiet.
I wish there was a little fridge.
As always the Beefeater restaurant for breakfast came up trumps and the staff there are excellent.
The fact that there was no toilet roll in the room and the bed the 16 year old slept on did not haver a sheet only an undersheet - this was not noticed until the next morning. If one is paying £135 per night you expect a higher standard.
Good staff, very friendly dealing with our late check-in. Comfy bed, clean room
A Premier Inn is a premier Inn
Very clean and comfortable. All staff were very welcoming.
Disappointed not to be able to open windows at all.
The staff were so very helpful we were a wedding party of 10 staying, so caused them a lot of work. The understanding and kindness they showed was over and above, the evening before we ate at the beefeater attached staff were also super we had 2 extra guests come for the meal with us and was accommodated for, with no problems Julie our waitress was a star, we all had breakfast on both mornings of our stay , full marks for that too. THANKYOU
all bedroom windows unable to be opened. Airconditioning in room not working! Alternative room offered did not sartisfy because air conditioning also was not effectiver! Room siting of TV was at accute viewing ange! We checked out of hotel and did not stay because of the above problems.
Size of family room was fine and room facilities and bed comfort were good
The hotel stairs and corridors needed hoovering. Bathroom floor could do with replacing. The outside of the hotel - windows and shutters - really need painting. It looked pretty shabby and no advertisement for Premier Inn
Staff and food were ok. Breakfast good as normal. Evening meal a little disappointing but ok.
Second child bed was just a mattress on the floor never experienced this before at premier inn. This is the worst premier inn we have ever stayed at and we are regular users. Pub toilets were disgusting
Staff were exception all of them and we were very impressed with their help and care They should get comendation
Shower went hot intermittently As we were in disabled room i suspect ot would not be good for disabled person Mentioned it to staff and they said you have water presdure problems because hotel is listed building Kusr a note not a complanit
Friendly ness of staff, we had to cancel two nights of our 3 night stay as we realised we had booked into the wrong premier inn, and the booking was cancelled, and they phoned to book a room for us at the correct premier inn. And yes Desiree the other premier inn is not as nice as the one we first stayed in at godalming.
Good location for visiting family
The price is a bit steep and having to pay extra for breakfast, it was very chaotic on the last day, The plates were very greasy, I put several to one side as I was not prepared to eat of them, also scrambled egg was cold, I sent it back.
Staff were friendly and the food was great
The hotel smelled of damp and room 2 has damp patches. Secondly I booked a double room and was given a disabled room
Friendly and welcoming staff and room was fine!
A bit pricey
I liked it because I feel more at ease in a smaller hotel especially as I am on my own.
I did find it was rather noisy from the traffic which seemed to go on until early morning.
Lovely breakfast, good choice as advertised.
Frosted windows that did not open in our room (14) but this was OK for one night.
Good parking Nice garden Friendly staff Comfortable bed
Poor lighting in bathroom and bedroom No view out of window
It was within walking distance to godalming football club which I was going to see a match.
Waited for an hour for our food to be served in the beefeater which was not busy.
