Score from 119 reviews Good
Quiet. Friendly & helpful staff. You know what you're getting. Easy parking.good room layout. Being able to opt out of breakfast. Warmth of room. Cancellation terms.
Left having already prepaid the room and checked into another, hotel for the night: got to pay twice! I was furious after obnoxious treatment by front dsk "Claire" and lack of honesty re quietness of room. Had booked the room with the caveat "quiet room please", but found it annexed to a restaurant/pub. Rude front desk "Claire" insisted I first swipe my card then told me no "quiet" guarantee as Inn could be used by overflow drinkers from bar. When I said I wouldn't stay and wanted refund, was refused by her and mgr (over the phone).. Hotel backs to the major Hwy and window looked out on trash bins. Shall never stay in Premier Inn regardless of how tired I am. Business people beware - look elsewhere. For gd night's sleep!! Wifi is not free.
location. Easy to find and get to. Very good quality and value of evening meal and breakfast. Spacious room and bathroom.
The staff went out if their way to be friendly and helpful
Wifi should be free
friendly welcome on late arrival
on opening the room door,an overwhelming smell of damp, room was cold and a mouldy smell.the bed was so cold it almost felt wet.and not a goodnight sleep because of the smell.reported to receptionist who said comments would be passed to housekeeping.
The fact that we paid double the amount that our daughter paid for the same type of room
Easy access to location travelling to. Comfortable, quiet, good food, friendly staff.
Staff very helpful and polite Room clean Good facilities
We stayed in the only room left, which was for people with disabilities, though neither of us is disabled. We both thought it would be quite difficult for a disabled person to get in and out of the bath or have a shower.
Friendly , helpful staff.
No air conditioning. No draws to put clothing or personal items (only open storage shelves and rail) Bed not as comfortable as advertised! and as it has castors if one sits up and leans back the bed moves forward. The 3 days we stayed the bedding was not changed.
Staff friendly. Brewers fayre excellent
The staff were very friendly and helpful , they took trouble to show a bit of care and understanding. When complained about the noise created by some inconsiderated guests the staff had no hesitation in refunding our money under the Good night guarantee . No hesitation in recommending and would definitely stay again .
There was a wedding party that were unfortunately very noisy in the early hours of the morning which disturbed many of the guests .
It was near to where we were going for the evening and very clean and comfortable
Friendly staff Comfortable room Easy access to York and Bridlington
Attached Brewers Fayre always crowded during our 4 night stay. Very hot at night and at breakfast. Staff at Brewers Fayre quite surly at times and did not respond positively to minor complaints.
Staff were very friendly and helpful
Bed to hard for me
Excellent staff. Couldn't ask for more during our stay
Thunder feet from the floor above a little frustrating at 1am but thats not really the fault of the hotel.
Staff very helpful and friendly
The restaurant food selection was less than other brewers fair restaurants which I have used before.
The staff at this hotel are just wonderful. They were chatty and helpful. They across happy in their job and wanted to ensure that you enjoyed your stay with them. Top marks to them (includes the cleaners).
There was nothing I didn't like
All you can eat breakfast and kid's eat free is excellent. A very good night's sleep and no noise!
Limited opening windows in rooms would prevent escape in case of emergency. Could do with pillow and mattress protectors although linen was very clean
The staff were good. Room nice and clean.
The wifi here was terrible also the phone signal was just as bad! I could stay here again as I need both to work. The fish pie I ordered was very bland and about 80 percent potato
Convienent with the pub next door.
No air conditioning in the rooms
the facilities where good the staff on reception and restaurant where very helpful and friendly
