Score from 157 reviews Very good
I liked the room and the bed.
I didn't like heating facilities. Very poor heating. Cleanliness very poor. There is no heating in toilet. The heating is very poor in room.
Very comfortable bed. Disabled room very spacious and the bathroom was ideal for my husband who has some mobility issues. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Onsite restaurant (Brewer's Fayre) was very busy and noisy when we went for dinner. Service was OK but choice of food was not really to our taste - too much emphasis on fast food, chips etc. Breakfast, however, was very good and up to the standard of all Premier inns we have stayed in.
Very friendly staff good location right next to a1
Bed duvet far to heavy and to thick and breakfast just average
As given in 1,2 &3
none in particular
Big bed easy location
Small TV Having to pay for wifi wifi slow
Reception was very understanding when booking.com messed up my booking. She immediately put it right and got me a room. Very friendly throughout. Room was good size and clean. Restaurant had kids play area which is a lifesaver while waiting for food. Not too pricey either. Overall a nice stay, would stay again if in the area.
TV was a bit small for size of room and my room was the furthest it could possibly be from the entry. Also it can be tricky to get to if you come in from the wrong road. Wish they had free wifi as its pay for use only. That's about it.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay the staff were very helpful and the quality of the hotel was excellent.
Why spoil the service by charging for wifi which is a must for most travellers.
Typical Premier Inn,no issues again
Staff really friendly
The smell of paint and breakfast prices
Very quiet despite being next to motorway. Room well cleaned every day. Staff extremely friendly and helpful as always
Technical probs with wi-fi due to change of supplier but hotel very quick to compensate
staff friendly and accomadating
lift wasn't working to 2nd floor
The staff were very helpful and happy.
We would like a well behaved dog friendly room!
Excellent and helpful staff
Noise from room above
This is our second time staying at this location. Good stop off for the barracks. Good standard of room, clean and spacious. We arrive after 1am as we traveled from Manchester airport. The gentle man at the desk was very helpful, quick check in and got us to our room.
The only down side to our stay this time was it go really noisy after 8am. After dropping off my other half to the barrack, I thought I should go back to bed for a snooze...but that was unsuccessful
Food was excellent. Staff at Resturant were very helpful. Location is outstanding
No free interner
Local to Grantham without being too close.
Sound of A1 although not enough too be troublesome.
Great location Great standards Friendly staff
Great bed. Room was immaculately clean as was en-suite. Reception staff were warm and friendly. Location was perfect for me, just off the motorway near Grantham.
Nothing, all was good
We were given a disabled person's room which, although I am not disabled as such, meant I had a great deal of freedom and the wet room was a real blessing. I do walk with the aid of a stick. The staff were courteous and friendly, and the bed was comfortable in the extreme. It would be my wish that other "chains" found out about the Brewer's Fayre coffee machine next door, best I have ever had out of a machine.
I can honestly say there was nothing I did not like.
Staff great location ok cleanliness good refund excellent parking great
I hate complaining but when you dont sleep and you offer good nights sleep guarantee I had to. The rooms are always too warm. We couldnt put the fan on as it was too noisy, we had the window open but again it was very noisy. We were on the ground floor and the noise from upstairs was terrible. The pillows are too big, one is not enough but two is to much. I would rather have had a good nights sleep than have a refund. My daughter was competing in a big athletics competition the next day so needed a good nights sleep. Luckily it didnt effect her too much as she won. I think the solution would be to make sure all the temperature controls are set to cool as it is easier to get warm than it is to cool down.
reasonable soundproofing for bedrooms and the bed was very comfortable with a choice of firm or soft pillows.
bedroom was rather warm and not easy to cool down. the price looks good until you add in wifi at £3 a day and breakfast at £8.75 per person.
Helpful staff. Room close to entrance. Spacious room.
Bed was hard.
Reception staff very friendly
Good access, good location, amenities good. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Being in the room above the automatic door. You could hear a load buzz every time it opened
