Staff and Food
Bedroom was crowded with furniture. Not sufficient wardrobe space and room was too small for a mature couple.
A comfortable night, great bed!
The rooms and beds are generally the best for a budget hotel. Did encounter a couple of problems this time but the reception staff were more than happy to offer compensation for this.
We were very cold and the heater didn't work, also the bathroom door wouldn't shut properly.
The location suited us.
The room smelt stale as did the corridors which, by design, have no fresh air coming in. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready. Fair enough. But, having driven some distance, my wife and I had to change for a wedding and it would have been helpful to have been given access to a room just to do this. Instead, we ended up changing in the disabled WC
Location was good as we had a party around the corner but nothing a mile each way. Food was good, but pricey. Bed was comfy.
The bed was only a double not King as advertised. Noise from above and either side very early in the morning. So a room on the 1st floor would be better.
Nothing to dislike - never had a bad experience at a Premier Inn.
friendly staff, comfortable bed, quiet night
Steps down to the hotel
Shame that the fire alarm went off at 1 am but otherwise I had a very good night's sleep.
usual Premier Inn standard
convenient, adequately comfortable
not well signed, you have to look for Beefeater sign not Premier Inn. Dark breakfast area with crowded access to buffet
Despite being near a busy dual carriageway the bedrooms have double glazed windows so no sound filters through. The bed was extremely cosy, and the room perfectly adequate for a short stay. There is plenty of car parking. The site also has a good pub/restaurant in another building.
There were a couple of issues during my stay which were brought to the attention of the staff who were extremely helpful in resolving them. One was the room heating which reached 45 degrees one morning and one relating to plumbing. I was moved very smartly to another room which had none of these issues.
Very friendly staff. No frills accommodation. Reasonable restaurant adjacent to hotel. In the countryside yet a few minutes drive to the Black Country.
A bit out of the way.
Friendly staff Good sized family room
Hotel itself was good but to list a few issues with beefeater restaurant: Went for evening meal, no fruit salad for daughters dessert, nanoffee sundae with no banana, had to ask for table to be cleared in between courses. General thought and care seemed missing.
The fact that we could book in quite late after a long journey
Nothing as we didn't stop for long
Excellent location for me - on my route and easy drive from motorway for late night arrival. Excellent help from reception. Comfy, clean room and, as requested, quiet. Reasonable price that night.
Slight niggle - banisters needed a wipe or polish - sticky!
Friendly yet professional staff. Comfy bed, quiet and beautifully clean.
Pillows were poor, hard to find even with a satnav
the staff were excellent, very clean and if we have to visit the area again we will return.
better sound proofing from the rooms above.
reception staff were excellent and very obliging. The evening meal was good and menu varied. The offerings at breakfast were stupendous!!! hot and tasty.
my evening steak was a little disappointing as it was cooked medium rare not...Bleau!
we had to have the window open as it was very warm, but unfortunately it is right next to the main road so road noise was an issue service in the pub, particularly at breakfast was slow, so not good if you are in a rush!
The room was very clean and comfortable with ample towels and cups for everyone (not what we had experienced in a rival chain the previous night). We arrived late and we were all tired so it was good to have everything immediately available. The area was quiet and set-back from the road so we slept well. The cooked breakfast was freshly cooked and very hot. The continental selection of food was also very good with fresh fruit, cereal and croissants chosen by the children. We were all very happy with our short stay en-route from the West Midlands Safari Park to Cadbury World.
We arrived in the dark and it was poorly signposted. We missed the sign and had to turn round to find it in the dark. It is hidden behind the Beefeater sign so take care to look out for the building with the Tudor facade; we thought it was just a pub/restaurant. We understand that a new sign is already being arranged.
The room was comfortable and the staff were lovely. We had a nice meal and breakfast.
The room was very hot as there was no air conditioning.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Service with a smile.
Staff were friendly and very considerate, they even found a birthday card for my son. Breakfast cooked to order as good as any hotel breakfast.
efficient, relaxed, comfortable, safe, clean.
room window barely opened.
