the setting is perfect by the side of the canal
The staff were welcoming and very friendly
The room was great just suited me and my elderly mum
Beds and pillows excellent. Decent breakfast with good range of options served by friendly staff.
Strong smell in bathroom. Wifi very slow.
Comfortable room that was quiet and good facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast room not well stocked eg no tea pots, milk jugs, spoons not enough staff to replenish the food they were unable to keep up with demand. There were lots of flies around the tables in the restaurant and where the breakfast was being served.
Location and the extra large bed!
The musty smell and the very small bath
This Premier Inn is located on the main road between the M62 motorway and Halifax town centre, but is surprisingly tranquil, being set back from the road next to a pleasant canal basin. The staff were helpful, and the breakfasts (in the nearby restaurant) were freshly-cooked to order.
The restaurant was very good. Staff very friendly and most helpful, good parking.
Room was lovely and extremely comfortable
It was a nice location, near the canal, handy for Halifax.
The breakfast order for one guest on the first morning, which was simple enough to be honest, was incorrect. The second effort had corrected the first mistake, but then this was incorrect again. As we had things to do and two of us had basically finished our breakfasts by the time the second attempt came to the table, we didn't bother raising nor had the time to raise this a second time. It wasn't very busy in the dining area at that time so this was disappointing.
Good location - not far from the motorway, but not actually on the motorway! It was nice with the canal outside. Great room, comfy bed. Great value for money.
Beautiful location. Very big bed, good sized room.
Our room was very hot, I was unable to sleep our second night
Staff were very friendly and helpful, lovely setting. Restaurant food was filling.
No complaints at all
Nice setting Clean and tidy Great breakfast and service
Staff! so helpful, friendly & kind.
Very polite, helpful and friendly staff on arrival to make a very late check in as easy and as quick as possible.
Very friendly and efficient service, interesting and scenic location.
Excellent staff who went that extra mile, and in the restaurant too! All very warm and welcoming with happy smiling faces. Provided us with extra quilt as weather was exceptionally cold during our stay.
could not be set temperature any higher than 23 degrees.
position to roads and area excellent food.
lack of info to surrounding area castles etc
Everything ! This is 5 star premier !
Nothing, comment though, In the outside rooms in the winter, perhaps always there should be a curtain across the Outside door.
Staff were friendly. Bed was comfortable.
Old fashioned and tired. Bathroom newly fitted but poor finish. We've stayed in other Premier Inns and this doesn't feel as nice as others.
Nice large family room.
The 3rd bed could be a bit longer. Teenagers are getting taller these days. There's plenty of space in the room, so that's not a constraint.
Location visiting friends
The bed was large and comfortable, the staff were helpful and freindly and the room was like an American Motel which was handy for having the car straight outside where you could see it, get to things, unload and load easily. It was within easy driving distance of Halifax, Sowerby Bridge and its more shop attractive Hebden Bridge.
Bathroom was a bit dated but the price reflected this. Location was not the best we have had at a Premier Inn for locality to shops, restaurants or a City Center, had to drive. Also this was opposite a garage, however it was comfortable and cheap. Halifax seemed closed on Sunday Morning and the Peice Hall was not worth seeing on this day as most shops were shut up to 11 am and after.
