Receptionist offered to make dinner reservations for the very busy restaurant. It was a delightful way to treat guests!
They supplied coffee and sugar with no problems. Close to the Harbor but still had to hire a taxi to get there. Hotel should supply transportation because this is the main reason they have any business.
Poor value for the money. Furniture was very old. Carpet was worn. Shower head did not work properly. Very small space to hang clothes. Stairway was dangerous. Fell down 2 steps but they did not care or make corrections. Food at connecting restaurant was not good. breakfast was not worth additional price but no where else to go.
The bed after long day traveling.
Location, room is goog size, grocery store within walking distance, restaurant near by.
Very nice room, very clean, comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast choice. Friendly staff.
Air conditioning did not work although not needed the night we stayed.
Good Location, Clean and comfortable attached restaurant and pub Good location for taking a cruise out of the terminal the next day, etc
Lack of A/C>>>minor but warm on top floor
Very convenient for the cruise ship.
Should have book a table for dinner. Due to various deals in the local paper etc, it was extremely busy, we had to wait approx 45 mins for a table.
Friendly helpful staff
The bed being very uncomfortable
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They made you feel very welcome! Food in the bar/restaurant was very good and value for money.
There was quite a lot of noise from youths hanging around in the car park well into the early hours and due to the heat we had the windows open, so this was a bit distruptive.
Friendly, helpful staff. Nice breakfast.
Very uncomfortable bed and noisy person clomping around in room above until very late. Was in last room (8?) on first first floor.
Swift and efficient check in rooms up to the usual premier Inns standard
Very crowded restaurant very slow service on cruise days
Estelle, Lara and Tracey have spoiled us so we will only stay in Premier Inns from now on. These ladies are stellar......
Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful to both myself and my two young children. Will recommend.
Perfect location for ferry; accomodation and restaurant under one roof; friendly and accomodating staff; good value for money; free parking; easy to find.
Very nice stay. Staff very frendly and helpfull. Would stay again. Thank you
We said we would be arriving about 3 to 4 pm,but we actually arrived @ lunchtime & everything was ready & the room was very clean & fresh. We enjoyed a nice meal later in the evening with drinks & the cost was very reasonable.
Staff in reception very helpful good local knowledge, Unfortunateley tend to remember the negatives
No hot water in hotel, in restaurant had a bit of wait for food ,had ate my meal before wife & granddaughters food turned up had to take her desert back to room as she was falling asleep due to the wait
Typical good premier Inn but some real issue with room temp. Was treated very well by understanding staff who sorted a discount.
Temp of room.
confortable bed and room
The breakfast was included in the price. I wanted to choose an English breakfast, as it should be my last day in Britain. "Just sit down and I'll come around for your order" said the waiter. But he never showed up, he was too busy. I could't blaim the guy, because it was very crowded, probably with people that wanted top catch the morning ferry to Hoek. But why does the management of the hotel - should be used to this situation - employ just ONE person for this breakfast? Really disappointing.
The location - literally 2 minutes' drive from the ferry to Holland - friendly and professional staff, comfortable bed, free & secure parking, reasonable restaurant next door
Harwich itself! We gave up the idea of eating in town (it was a Sunday) and came back to the restaurant next door to the hotel.
The location to Harwich ferry port although it was a longer walk than we were led to believe and the road was very busy with big trucks and no footpath
Location to Ferry port Clean
Reception staff (especially Estelle) very friendly Good location Spotlessly clean We didn't sleep well due to heat and noisy fan in the room - given instant refund following Premier Inn good night guarantee.
Lack of sleep due to room temperature - very hot that evening and no air conditioning in the room. A fan had been provided but was nosiy. Also noise from outside when window open.
We stayed one night before a cruise in July. Check in was easy, facilities clean and staff was very friendly.
Service in restaurant was a bit slow. Food was good however.
It was placed well for the ferry and anybody cruising from Harwich.
Place needs a refurb
