Security and saftey as a woman travelling alone, friendliness of staff, good beds and a great shower. Also good location.

Good location for visiting Haydock, St Helens and Warrington area. Situated directly on the East Lancs Road.

Bar food and breakfast very good

We were woken at 7am Sunday morning by children running up and down right outside our room and talking, not very good on break away.

Great location for us to visit family in both Lancashire and Liverpool

It was conveniently located for my purposes. Rooms are large.

The journey to / from breakfast was inconvenient (a walk in the rain at 0645 is not desireable). There was no decaff coffee in the room. The heater was very small considering the size of the room and struggled to get the room up to a comfortable temperature. The shower gel dispenser didn't work well. No anti-slip mat (the integral non-slip element of the bath was not effective). Don't like having to buy internet time. Wifi is now a necessity and having to pay for it in a hotel is unwarranted. I now select hotels on whether or not they have free Wifi.

The receptionist when we checked in was lovely...Proper friendly and nice/helpful :) and the lady on reception in the morning was lovely too...and the staff at breakfast were also all really nice............Good food............ Thank You:)

Cracked Mirror in room and 2 televisions 1 which was working and 1 which was broken

Location was good. Reception staff where excellent and extremlt helpful. I have worked as a Hotel Reception Manager and have quite high standards when going to hotels but your staff exceeded them. Well done. We would surely stay with you again should we need to stay in the area. Mrs Sayers

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was great. The room was clean and as we were staying in a family room, there were lots of towels and pillows provided, great.

Convienient location to our night out in Lowton Labour Club

The sock hanging off the smoke detector when we arrived presumably to stop the alarm going off.Informed the staff member who instantly removed it with appologies. The room was clean but smelled of cigarette smoke during our stay. More than one person should be on duty to ensure inpections are thorough in my opinion
