Comfy bed Shower Room space
It was quite hot in room even with air conditioning on difficult to cool room
The staff were lovely and happy to help with everything. The hotel itself is clean and tidy. The atmosphere is friendly and calm. If i ever need to visit Hemel again i will definately chose to stay there. Highly recommend :)
It was quite hot (not really the hotels fault) and room wasnt massive.
the room was very spacious. close to a lot of shops and nice restraunts. very clean, the staff were very helpfull. parking is ok, a short walk from the hotel but it secure and free so cant complain
constantly hot the dated air con machines only go down to 18 degrees which is bareable but noticeable
Location of the hotel was second to non. The restaurant was excellent and the main customer areas were clean and well presented.
We stayed in room 301, couldn't see anything out the window due to it being so dirty and the seal broken on the double glazing with caused it to steam up. We could just make out the canal through the window which was a shame as it would of been an excellent view otherwise. The room was so hot, even the air con unit, that sounded like a car running didn't cool it down.
The staff were really friendly and helpfully. The location was perfect for what was needed for the trip, thou the parking wasn't close by. Had to get directions at check-in. The bar was a nice area to sit and was fairly stocked well.
The main double bed was ok but the single beds in the room were very uncomfortable. The were very worn and you could feel the springs. The single payment for breakfast seemed over priced especially if you only wanted toast and a cup of tea. There wasn't an option to pay for what you ate! Also the main meals weren't value for money. And the ironing boards have also seen better days.
the hotel was good, food is great.
the town. there is nothing to do in Hemel, the shops are closed at 5pm, no good places to go out in the evening.
Great breakfast and nice clean hotel room. All you need and great value for money.
Fixtures and fittings were a bit worse for wear, such as coat hooks but really nothing to complain about.
very nice room.. breakfast was a good deal too
having to pay for wifi...so I didn't. should be included as business clients are surely who you wish to attract.
We ended up getting both nights refunded. I stayed with my brother as visiting Harry potter studios and at first all was good. Then the first evening put tv on no subtitles as remote did not work. They promote subtitles that's why we stayed there my brother is deaf, we called down and they told us 10 mins - well 20 minutes later nothing tried ringing down again and no one was answering the phone so had to get out pjs and go down to be told another 10 mins - a further 30 mins still nothing by this time it's nearly 11pm. Another 30 mins later they finally come and tell us they have a remote this service was not good don't give a time scale if you are unsure. By the time we got the remote it was too late to be wanting to watch tv anyway. The next morning, I was running the shower, when I got out the shower it would not turn off, it had broken. We had to call reception again an they had to send someone up immediately whilst I was stood in my towel as I couldn't get in the bathroom as they were inspecting the shower and couldn't chnGe in bedroom as my brother was in there. They said tht they would have To move us rooms as they were struggling to contact the Maintenence. They advised us to go do our day and then head back and we will move rooms . We therefore cut our day short to allow enough time to move rooms before going to the Harry potter tour latter that evening and queued at reception for about 10-15 minutes just to be told we didn't need to be moved rooms now as the shower was now fixed. Not happy as this wasted our day. Just wanted to add! This was my birthday as well!!! Lastly we got a refund and thought all had been resolved however our parents booked same time as us but there stay was just after and when they arrived they were told of the free car park! We had been payin £4 all weekend! Not happy at all!
The staff were very helpful and the hotel was clean and comfortable.
The room was too warm but was offered a fan to fan help.
Walking distance to shops, transport, spacious, clean rooms.
bacon needs to be cooked more at breakfast
Helpfulness and friendly staff. Dinner breakfast deal was excellent. Grest location..bus dtop right outside too.
Room too hot and stuffy and bit noisy with windows open. Had very restless night
From the moment we arrived every member of staff was cheerful and helpful.
My daughter kicking me in the back because we shared the bed, but nothing the staff could have dove about that!!!
Everything, the staff were very helpful and the place was clea n and tidy.Food in restaurant was excellent and hot.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was very good. Lovely clean room.
Room was very hot, air con unit but too noisy to have on all the time and window only opened a fraction to let air in!
more coffee creamers
Convenient location and very close to where we wanted to get to. Recommended for a short stay.
Our child was competing in a gymnastics competition. The room was so hot and stuffy we just didn't get any sleep. It really affected her performance. We couldn't open the window because of the traffic noise. The beds did not feel comfortable (prob not helped by the fact we were kept awake by the unbearable heat). Really unfortunate as last year we had a very comfortable stay. Stayed Sat 27th September.
Service in resurant very slow.
Very good location and free parking
Breakfast restaurant extremely busy on Sunday morning. Bit of a wait
We loved the fantastic food in the restaurant including breakfast, size of the room, friendly staff, free parking, clean rooms and view from our window was amazing
Hotel parking was quite difficult to find as we don't know the area, also the beds were quite hard causing me and my fiancé slight back ache when we woke up.
The facilities were good, similar to other Premier Inns I have stayed in. What really stood out though were the staff in reception and the restaurant - very friendly, and seemed to genuinely want to help me have a great stay.
Car park was a tad confusing to find at first, but when I did get there it was just a short walk across a footbridge to the hotel.
could have done with air conditioning on in restaurant very hot in the morning. Also when you got out of lift corridors were hot
