The staff were fantastic always cheery.
The bed had a ridges not the usual extremely comfortable bed just the opposite had. A dreadful nights sleep. The Breakfast was undercooked and greasy, the second day just had toast,my husband had nothing
Perfect place to stay to explore the south eastern costal area ...Very friendly and efficient staff, clean hotel and good breakfast selection. (London family)
The hotel is in a good location to pop to beaches near by. It's clean and value for money.
The noise from upstairs
It was ok but you could hear the people walking around
Ideal location for the for my work.
Wi Fi 'down' for duration of my stay which did impact on my workload.
The room was excellent along with the service.
I would really appreciate free wifi.
most hotels I stay in there is no charge for the Wi-Fi
from the moment we arrived we felt valued customers the staff were great and a credit to your hotel the facilities were excellent. as you may be aware we have already booked in next year many thanks for a great weekend. Derek & Esther Miles
The friendly, helpful and non-condescending staff; the large room and bathroom; the lovely large bed, probably a king/queen size, sufficient pillows, albeit I prefer mine a bit firmer, and excellent duvet; easy to understand (for me) Freeview TV and heating controls; bus stops next to the hotel for the frequent 4 and 6 (triangle) buses to Herne Bay, Whitstable and Canterbury, and vice versa; ample parking; loads of power points etc. I stay in many hotels, usually for leisure now, and this was one of the best as it had most of my requirements, including a full length mirror and coat hooks which seem to be disappearing from hotels.
Quite a bit of traffic noise from the Thanet Way, but then I live somewhere which is almost totally silent, and I could keep the windows shut. The main prob was, as always in hotels, the poor lighting, although there were 10 switches for eight silly little lights, but still very difficult to read, even with the desk reading light which I moved next to the bed. I am 70, and lighting designers must appreciate that eyes fail with age - as they will find out one day! Very difficult to use the lavatory press-button flush, and no lavatory brush; I was told that the latter was because of 'health and safety', yet I was able to produce a kettle full of boiling water!!! And the doors are not soft closing, so it was a bit of a problem on Friday night when there appeared to be more guests, There was nowhere private to store stuff, as all storage was open-plan - so had to use my case as I can be a bit shy. When will British hotels have fridges, and a single card control for the electrics, as is common on the Continent? And a well-lit mirror by the desk was needed, as we need somewhere to sit down when applying make up and doing our hair, I am nit-picking, but I always maintain that hotel rooms are designed by young men for men. And we ladies also hate those useless fixed showers, so we need moveable shower heads - men wouldn't think of that.
Everything was great
Fantastic double mattress. Staff very friendly and efficient. Restaurant decor very nice. Large and safe parking area.
Main Premier Inn signage unlit. Most of external lights did not work. Walkway posts had broken. Outside restaurant area bits of litter. Breakfast was not of usual quality: cold hash browns, baked beans had been stood under lights and cold tomato. In vending area you could offer additional toiletries like hair conditioner, moisturiser, toothbrush and toothpaste - I would gladly purchase them.
We liked the cleanlyness of the hotel and the comfort.
I didn't like the shower fixture and thats about all
The staff in the hotel and Table Table restaurant were very good. Comfortable bed.
Excellent quality bed Clean Linnen
charges for wifi internet access low quality small screen tv all the leaflets promoting food services (to many... one is enough) WC odour.. cleaning? small room size
Comfortable and clean
The Staff were all very friendly and tried their best.
The restaurant for breakfast was overstretched due to lack off adequate staffing. We had to wait to be seated for a good 10 minutes. We then waited another hour for breakfast in the end we left without it. The staff were trying their best but there weren't enough of them.
Room was clean and bed was comfortable.
It was very difficult to get through to the staff before the stay to request early book in, never managing to talk to the same person and being kept waiting on the telephone for ages. This was a pain.
Quiet location good parking facilities and not too far from Kent university
From arriving to leaving the staff members were all very polite and pleasant. Spotless facilities throughout. Nice and quiet. Restaurant on site was very clean, staff..fautless. 5 stars all the way.
Only a small gripe... Not sure the bed in our room was a King Size, very small one if it was :-( Unfortunately, our toilet was blocked and didn't flush very well. Consequently, the bathroom had an unpleasant smell. When I reported it to reception, on leaving (as we didn't spend much time in the room) they did make a note of it.
Wonderful bed, crisp clean linen, excellent shower.
Would have liked a small fridge in the room and to be able to open the window instead of using the air con.
Clean rooms and helpful staff. Accessible. Good breakfast.
Bed was extremely hard and felt like laying on table. Very unforgiving and meant that I woke up repeatedly because I was so uncomfortable.
Staff very friendly and helpful
Not a lot
Lovely and quiet! Breakfast facilities opposite were excellent too. First floor room near the lift as my husband is disabled. Plenty of disabled parking spaces too.
Only a small grouse! As my husband is disabled we had been given a room to accommodate his needs. However, the hanging space was lower meaning everything draped on the lower part. I like my clothes not to be crumpled! Perhaps a rail that could be raised and lowered??
The Quad room was spacious and very comfortable. Towels were changed daily. Staff was exceptional. Food at the restaurant was fairly priced and good.
No telephone in room and no conference room facility - not the most ideal for a business trip.
This hotel is a prime example of how a hotel should be run excellent definitely will stop again thank you for a great weekend
