Set in 3 acres of grounds, Judds Folly Hotel has a traditional bar, a restaurant and a lounge with views of Swale Valley. The historic market town of aversham is just a 5-minute drive away.

On the banks of the River Stour, just 8 miles outside Canterbury, The Grove Ferry Inn offers high-quality accommodation in Kent.
Score from 104 reviews Very good
Just off highway A299, only 1.5 miles from the beaches and the heart of Whitstable, the hotel offers comfortable, well-priced rooms and free parking.
Score from 326 reviews Good
Sitting on the Tankerton cliffs and overlooking the Thames Estuary, the hotel is ideally located for touring Kent’s northeast coast, with the towns of Whitstable, Margate and Ramsgate all within easy...

Nothing much within walking distance.
Despite overlooking busy road and restaurant very quiet in room. Very comfortable .
The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable.
The complimentary teabags made what goes onto my list of worst ever cups of tea. The breakfast was expensive and very, very average.
Pleasant staff, quiet room, comfortable, met our requirements, good food
staff shortage on one day of breakfast was a real let down due to obvious failings in an otherwise excellent service
The hotel looks nice and bright, the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are a decent size and the showers are spiffing. Had a great night sleep, on both nights. The bar across the road is pretty good too.
A/c smelt a little of mould
Booked on line for a family room when we got there only a single room was booked .it didn't take long they made up a family room .the beds were clean but floor was dirty still litter on floor.
Nice, clean, perfect on route to Dover , close to Canterbury.
Spacious clean comfortable room. Very good receptionists.
Table Table. Poor quality breakfast with terrible sausages. Poor value for money I would have preferred any roadside café to this. Very expensive for such poor quality. Most people had burnt toast as the first time through the toaster it didn't look done at all and the second time through it burnt. The staff MUST have seen how bad it was.
Food, clean and tidy. Staff great. Including the bedroom staff. Always polite and cheerful.
Clean bathroom Comfy bed and pillows TV that worked
Ground floor room - bit noisy, also very close to reception
The staff was excellent and friendly. .
The beds were appalling bad for sleeping.
15 min short walk to town centre
narrow windy road at top of hill had no pavement. Totally unsuitable (borderline lethal) walking route to beaches if you have children or pushchair
We enjoyed our stay so much we shall be looking to stay in a Premier Inn again soon in Lincolnshire.
Breakfast across the car park v poor, terrible coffee and long waiting time.
Very clean and quiet
all good - comfortable, clean and with very helpful staff on reception
Lovely comfortable beds & pillows!
No pillow protectors
Excellent service at reception and when being seated for meals. Efficient seating for dinner (we were a party of 7 and occasionally 8). Food was consistently good and reasonably priced. Advise guests to book table if they are a larger party.
This was our first visit to a Premier Inn and we were extremely impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the room with everything we needed provided.
One disappointment was after booking and paying for the 2 course evening meal plus breakfast deal for ourselves and three guests we were billed for the complete evening meal. After pointing this out the waitress re did the bill but still charged the deserts. We pointed this out and she re did the bill again getting it right.
Room, convenience, food, service.
initial booking was with Ramsgate, when I rang to confirm a male member of staff told me I did not have a booking. So I booked with Herne Bay. I then had a text on the day of my arrival from RAMSGATE welcoming me. The staff at Herne Bay told me to ring Ramsgate which I did and a female member of staff apologised for the mix up and cancelled my booking which apparently did exist. This confusion was poor communication and with two young children in tow I could have done without this.
Stingy coffee and tea in room. No shower gels.etc. Paid the same for b&b in Rye and got better value and breakfast included.
Had to go without meals due to over crowding/booking. Very poor parking. Never again
Our two-night stay in Herne Bay Premier Inn was a good experience. Comfortable, silent, great. The young lady who was working when we arrived was more than helpful. I was inpressed by her desire to help us in any way she could.
The only thing which surprised us is the fact that, considering the price we paid, we could not have access to unlimited Internet. Nowadays, this is slightly outrageous...
We were wanting to go to Whitstable for the Oyster Fare but left it too late to get anywhere in Whitstable. We stayed for two nights at Premier Inn Herne Bay where we were made very welcome and it was very convenient as the buses to Whitstable (and Canterbury) run right outside from early morning until 10pm or later at night and cheap to ride: Probably no more than parking all day. We ate at Table Table - next door to the Premier Inn where we found food and service excellent. Premier Inn was quiet and very clean.
Only one tip: don't follow your satnav to the Premier Inn as it will take you down a dead end lane. I think it is mentioned on the premier inn website.
