Rooms were clean. Receptionist was amazing. Beds were comfortable. Food at the nags head was lovely. All staff were lovely
Good size room, excellent bathroom, freshly cooked breakfast to order and surprisingly quiet for a hotel between a motorway and a pub. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Nag's Head, where breakfast was served, also served delicious meals. The bus stop for the regular buses to Halifax and Huddersfield was only a short walk away.
Having the M62 at the bottom of the car park.
Too many light switches ! Uncomfortable beds for my 13 yr old daughter & 8 yr old son on camp beds not what we paid for , room was far to close to the reception ! Could hear lots of noise !!! No PHONE RECEPTION !!! At all unless you go outside !! To receive calls
Room very very nice, one of the best i have stayed in.
We paid extra for breakfast, but were not told at time of booking there would only be a continental breakfast on offer, very disappointing and probably would have been better going elsewhere and probably would have cost less too.
Comfy bed friendly helpful staff clean room
Was all good
I paid £55 for a double room mid-week when travelling for work. The room was large, clean, and everything felt new. Bathroom was spotless which is a big tick in the yes box for me. Was attached to what looked like nice pub but ate in town so couldn't say. Off a main road into Huddersfield so easy to get into the centre.
Paying for wifi but for the price you can't complain really!
I booked my husband and me via booking.com and when I checked in no one noticed my paperwork stating one person. The next morning at breakfast I was humiliated by staff informing me that I was booked in one my own. At reception the staff said the same and that I hadn't booked the stay properly. Made me feel like I had picked up a bloke and taken him back to my family room.
Room comfortable and clean.
Restaurant was dirty. Table clothes sticky and service was to be desired. Plates were left on the table when main breakfast arrived, my husband stacked the plates himself and removed to the side. Hotel staff walked into out room without notice while we were getting dressed. Towels were not availabe in our room once we arrived, my husband had to ask for towels and refreshment condiments.
In spite of being next to the motorway a really good night's sleep because of soundproofing, comfortable bed, and temperature which was just right! Food at the pub next door was good value and service at hotel and pub really welcoming.
The room was excellent. Bed was superb:
Service and comfort
The shower needs a non-slip mat to be provided
Only two coffees in the room
Lovely comfortable rooms, well equiped especially for women as there was a lit mirror with plug points and hairdryer ideal for getting ready which. Really comfortable bed and I would definately stay here again. Good customer service.
There's no telephone in the bedrooms - instead you have to call a number from your mobile - very strange! There's no restaurant in Premier Inn although the Nag's Head is next door. Didn't like the quality of customer service by the lady who served us in the Nag's Head for lunch or breakfast the next day as it was as tough we were an inconvenience to her.
the room looked very new, excellent TV and very nice bathroom
Quality room decor and cleanliness. Also very quiet considering how near the motorway it is. Good food at the pub next door at reasonable prices.
beds and location - friendly staff
The bed was comfortable and clean
There was nothing dislike
I can say the hotel was very fantastic.
The bed was amazing and as I was heavily pregnant the comfort was a major factor. Staff couldn't do more for us. We were so comfy we stayed an extra night so I could rest before the drive home. The breakfast was great too.
Position, near motorway etc... Cleanliness and staff were very helpful.
Motorway Noise as I was that side of the Hotel. Nags Head cleanliness could have been better although the food was very nice. Nags Head staff were very helpful but could have had clean and tidy uniforms.
For breakfast to be served after 10:00 hrs.
Very friendly staff and very nice rooms means you are guaranteed a very good stay.
The "can do" attitude, efficiency and friendliness of the staff. They were all prepared to go the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed.
Lady on reception was very helpful and knowledgable about the local area. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Food in the pub next door was also lovely and to be recommended.
Only downside is if you have a room that faces the M62, you can't really have the window open due to the traffic noise.
