n a great location for visting the city rooms with view
nothing not to like
The beds are fantastic
Check-in process was too long
Arrived to be told I had only booked for 1 adult even though my receipt said 2 adults 1 child, I had already paid £66.75 and was told I would have to pay more for breakfast, receptionist was very condescending and ever though she sorted it in the end her attitude towards us checking in was awful with a queue of people behind me I felt like I had done wrong, plus no hot water
Very close to the wonderful Lion and Key tavern. Great views. lovely breakfast. Vey helpful staff.
Couldn't access free wifi so paid for the 24hr period.
Fantastic welcome from reception staff
We were on 12th floor and couldn't open window even slightly. I can't sleep with window closed. Eventually sorted out how to use air conditioning as heating was far too hot. Was 1.30am by then and hadn't had a wink was tired and grumpy the next day
Quiet and comfortable.
The staff where exceptional from the front desk to the cleaners
The ground floor entrance
Convenient hotel for Hull old town area
The hotel is built from floor 7 to 12 above a multi-storey car park. Nice views, but there are insufficient lifts (2) to cope, especially when one is out of service, as was the case during my stay.
Decent location near old town. Room clean, cosy and fair size.
Be careful when booking via this site to make sure you check room booked for 2. Despite booking triple room for 2 to use, found website classed it as single (despite naming both occupants and taking payment for both to have breakfast !)
The location. Comfy beds.
The staff were happy and pleasant the food was excellent
The only thing that we didn't. Like was the bathroom was freezing apart from that all was good
The price and location.
Comfy bed cleam moce staff good parking
Staff very friendly on arrival, meal deal was good value with breakfast very good. All areas of the hotel were clean
One lift out of action but the service was offered as an alternative
Location was good as was breakfast. Room was clean
Lift noisy and one not working so long wait. Entrance lobby very uninviting. Reception staff could have been better at explaining use of swipe card in lift. Heating not working in room but when asked supplied a heater.
Excellent location for the Town we went to the KC Stadium which was a 30 minute walk. The Hotel has some great views over the Town and the Humber Estuary.
There was only 1 lift working on the day we stayed. It was only because guests had wrecked the other lift a few weeks previous.
Good facilities, great location for our needs. Hardworking staff at breakfast kept everything moving.
Travelling with 3 teenage sons it would have been more comfortable to have a 3 single bed option rather than a double and a single.
Staff very friendly. Facilities good.Meals good value for money.
Did not like waiting 45 min for dinner, especially when having small kids travelling with us. Need to improve.
The hotel was well located and the staff friendly. Food was as you'd expect in a premier inn. Staff were very friendly.
The lift system if you go into the internal garage. It indicates the lifts are for staff only. That means you have to walk up 7 flights of stairs. In general the lift system is poor as you spend time waiting for them especially if you are on the top floor. This is not uncommon in premier inns as Leicester square is even worse
Staff attitude in morning
Getting no sleep due to electric machinery outside the room. Poor signage in car park resulted in having to walk up 7 flights to reception. Given an easy-access room without consultation. Having to pay for WIFI. Not getting complete refund and still having to pay for breakfast and wifi despite no sleep!!
Counter Staff SUPREB!!
Not A Lot!
Excellent location, good food, quiet but convenient for the city centre. Free parking is a real bonus.
Expected free Wi-fi which seems to be standard now in most hotels
Location is excellent, safe and convenient car park. Good security at hotel. First rate staff. The ambiance of the bar and the restaurant. Good value for money. Superb breakfast.
I liked everything about my stay and will gladly return.
Nice location Good food Comfy rooms
A particular staff on duty over night was really helpful. My child needed emergency medical attention and he called 999 for me and stayed with me on the phone till the ambulance service arrived. He also sought to find out how the child was doing in the early hours of the morning when we returned from the hospital.
