Brilliant staff at both premier inn and Wakefield arms.
Should be free wifi. Car park far too small for the amount of rooms. Don't mind paying a fiver if guaranteed a space, which you are not.
Very clean, quiet room, lovely breakfast, good hot shower.excellent location in town centre.
Room too hot at night.windows don't open and minimum room temperature is 19degrees
Location Slept very well
The room was cold in the evening.
Lovely place to stay with friendly staff
Great staff, with best of Premier Inn provision - except for car parking!
VERY limited (public) car parking which is Pay and Display (£5 per day). 'Always' full of public and shoppers' cars, so it's a miracle if you can find a spot. Alternative parking 3 minutes walk away which also contains threats of clamping if you don't fulfill all conditions.
The convenience of its location within the town.
The inadequate and expensive parking provision.
En-suite facilities were very satisfactory. Parking my car was better than I had anticipated, thank-you-oh-so-much.
My Saturday morning breakfast was 50% disappointing due to not everything was not available for my English cooked meal, especially Hash Browns!
Staff were brilliant. Obviously well-trained, they were very friendly and helpful
really shouldn't have to pay for Wifi these days!
Friendly helpful staff Central location Clean comfortable accommodation
Having to pay for parking and very limited spaces Having to pay for WiFi - shocking that Premier Inn continue to charge for this service
Staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. Excellent location. Room was comfortable and clean
you know what you get with Premier Inn: good prices, central location, comfy bed and very helpful staff.
Good service...quiet and dark room.
Paid for wifi.
Staff very friendly and efficient especially the receptionist. The hotel was clean and the bedroom had all the facilities required. The size of the bedroom was bigger than I would have expected for the price paid. The cost overall was extremely good value for money.
The temperature of the room was very cold on arrival. Room temperature was regulated by air conditioning, something I am not a fan of.
Breakfast not very good no milk had to ask no hot water 4 tea just poor all round
Staff very helpful and freindly (especially Jenny) Cleanliness Quiet Restaurant good Location
No fore warning of parking charges. Do not expect to pay for WiFi Bath requires non-slip mat and a wall handle. Do not like air conditioning - Noisy and stuffy. Strange and very restricted choice of TV channels. Very limited Radio choice No plug in available for MP3 or I-phone
Excellent Staff, that is what prompted me to review my stay.
The Weather :)
car park full,
wifi not free
The staff at attached bar very poor
Friendliness of all the staff. Clean and comfortable. Great access to the town centre.
As guests we felt we shouldn't pay extra for parking.
hotel staff exellent, room good ,hotel right on end of shopping area.
bit hard for parking and access to hotel. restaraunt adjoining has good food but very poor service, long wait zzzz.
The room was comfortable and quiet.
None of our credit cards could be accepted for payment yet they worked well everywhere else. We waited a long time for our dinner. When it arrived the chips were cold , the peas were raw but the fish was good. The front of house staff were great but the kitchen let them down. Because of all the one way streets, this hotel was very difficult to find!
all those smiles and very helpful staff, great to be able to access the bar and restaurant without going outside too.
Really uncomfortable first night on the single/ sofa bed, staff very understanding and refunded without quibble
After many stays when we asked for an extra comforter to sleep on, the new beds increased bed comfort 200%.
For a mature person such as myself, a separate shower, rather than over the bathtub would have been another great improvement.
We were initially offered a room in the new annex on second floor with no lift!! The receptionist changed us to the last room accessible with a lift.
