Had difficulty keeping wifi connection.
Staff were all pleasant and cheery and willing to assist this disabled traveller, this is so important for the disabled, helpful but without being overly intrusive. 10/10 to the staff.
The shower in my room was a shower over bath type but had a seating area built in at the bottom of the bath, away from the taps, this made sitting down and swinging my legs into the bath easy and then using the grab rails to pull myself upright. Unfortunately the bottom of the bath was slippy and I took a fall into the bath, fortunately I wasn't injured in any way but badly jarred by the fall. Staff were very concerned about my welfare and made a full refund for my stay.
The staff were so polite and helpful. It was a pleasure to see people actually enjoying their job and wanting to make their customers happy. Especially with families. Would highly recommend!
The staff were young but all credit to them extremely friendly and good interaction with my child.
The parking, customers should be made aware that after a long journey on arrival you are given directions to park at another location due to the limited parking spaces outside the hotel. As a single woman with a small child walking back in the dark it is not ideal, only then to have to move the car by 9am the following morning.
No hairdrier in the bedroom. It had been removed for repair. A replacement should have been provided.
In The heart of Where we wanted to be.
very friendly staff. good food. nice room.
drinks very expensive compared to other places in town, Wi-Fi terrible.
The free wifi was very intermittent
Room was clean and comfortable, staff very helpful and friendly ... Food and service was very good
The bar area lacked any comfortable seating ... Ideal for eating , but was not ideal for sitting down for a couple of hours with drinks and relaxing .. Maybe more t.vs in the bar area
Central location, Comfortable bed and pillows Clean throughout Good shower Nice breakfast
Having to pay for parking Evening meals were average Other guests being inconsiderate and letting the doors bang!
Everything but the location was great, right by town without being noisy. Staff very friendly. Nice large room.
ONLY 30 MINS FREE WIFI!!AND IT NEEDS TO PAY!
The staff sorted me out with a heater and helped as much as possible regarding tourist attractions. The jug of free fresh water from the adjoining bar was also a nice touch saving you filling up the kettle from the unhygienic bathroom sink
The prices can be steep at the Premier inn and there is no provision for single travelers as in single rooms. The fact that the teabags, milk and sweeteners were rationed was also a negative. The antiquated heating system can render you grey overnight working it all out. Just give us a simple on off switch heater
Staff most helpful. Lovely modern comfy room . Adjoining restaurant most accommodating for an unexpected large party.
Car parking. Don't mind paying but not enough spaces.
Brilliant staff at both premier inn and Wakefield arms.
Should be free wifi. Car park far too small for the amount of rooms. Don't mind paying a fiver if guaranteed a space, which you are not.
Very clean, quiet room, lovely breakfast, good hot shower.excellent location in town centre.
Room too hot at night.windows don't open and minimum room temperature is 19degrees
Location Slept very well
The room was cold in the evening.
Lovely place to stay with friendly staff
Great staff, with best of Premier Inn provision - except for car parking!
VERY limited (public) car parking which is Pay and Display (£5 per day). 'Always' full of public and shoppers' cars, so it's a miracle if you can find a spot. Alternative parking 3 minutes walk away which also contains threats of clamping if you don't fulfill all conditions.
The convenience of its location within the town.
The inadequate and expensive parking provision.
En-suite facilities were very satisfactory. Parking my car was better than I had anticipated, thank-you-oh-so-much.
My Saturday morning breakfast was 50% disappointing due to not everything was not available for my English cooked meal, especially Hash Browns!
Staff were brilliant. Obviously well-trained, they were very friendly and helpful
really shouldn't have to pay for Wifi these days!
Friendly helpful staff Central location Clean comfortable accommodation
Having to pay for parking and very limited spaces Having to pay for WiFi - shocking that Premier Inn continue to charge for this service
Staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. Excellent location. Room was comfortable and clean
