The whole experience was great! Beds and room comfortable and clean! Location in Central of town! Above all the staff were very helpful and caring. They went out of their way to help in a family emergency! They called us to take an emergency call when our cell phones were not working! They helped us the next morning keeping our luggage safe until we could rent a car. The breakfast was very good value and restaurant staff very helpful also!
The shower was very powerful and the bathroom roomy and spacious.
Breakfast was a bit disappointing. There was lots of choice but dirty tables weren't cleared away very quickly and some of the crockery and cutlery was a bit grubby.
good quality hotel in the centre of Kendal
Paying to park the car over night went against the grain.
Good room Good helpful staff Good location
No shaver point in Bathroom Barely adequate towels No Iron on room
Everything except parking
Havingto pay for 24 hour parking when I was only staying 15 hours
Really friendly staff clean comfy rooms .
Parking was main problem. I would not have minded paying but there was no spaces in the premier inn car park and the overflow car park needed to be vacated by 830am which meant early rising.
Very comfortable beds, central location, will definitely stay there again and would recommend.
Room size Cleanliness Comfort Staff friendliness Adjacent restaurant and bar
Car park spaces too tight. Two dents in a brand new car!
Everything about staying in Kendal People are very friendly and helpful and most central for travelling the lakes, this was our second visit and would certainly stay again, the resturant very good value and staff and presentation good
Car park soon gets full oneday we had to park up the road on Council park and had to move car by 8 oam not too get wheelclamped
Lovely welcome Great room, Fantastic location in middle of Kendal
Carpark was full and we had to park elsewhere and fetch car before 8am next morning which was a pain. One grumpy barman
Good Central location in Kendal. With short travelling time to the likes of Windermere etc...
Having to pay 5 pounds per day to park. Surely should be refunded to guests when they leave.
Pub attached to the inn seemed very unprofessional. We had the breakfast pack and first morning all ran well. Second and third morning was a disaster. No buffet on second morning and waited over 30 minutes for breakfast. Third morning everything running out and not being replaced for at least ten minutes even when requested was still taking an era. We waited 50 minutes for our dinner one night and then only 3 of the 4 meals came and the 4th was delivered 5 minutes after the rest. In my opinion poorly run
The pub on site meant that you could relax and have good quality food.
The rooms were very spread out
My husband was very happy with their breakfast.
Unfortunately we had to ask to change batteries of TV remote which reception lady did it immediately. Also the one of bath room light was nearly gone, but they could not change it as there was not any staffs to do. But we did not like the most was the family ( maybe a couple) stayed top of our room was making noise quite a lot. It sounded like somebody jumping down from the bed all the time! We nearly went to reception to complain about it but we did not, as we only stayed a night. So overall, if none of these happened then we were happy.
Good location, very good helpful staff
Didn't like having to order a cooked breakfast in order to get a free meal for our son. Paid for it but didn't have it. Tried to create e mail account but it kept timing out so We could not get longer than 30mins free time on Internet, which was a shame for our son. Expensive car park when staying at a hotel.
Bedroom and all facilities there in were excellent. Room appeared to be newly decorated and spotlessly clean. Provision for breakfast was excellent. All members of staff were most helpful and polite. Would recommend this hotel.
Parking facilities. Important to arrive early to find a parking spot near the hotel. However, overnight parking cost £5!
Quiet, near to town, convenient for lakes.
Room was very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful
Having to find parking when space not available at the prem. and paying either for two hours or full term.
Friendliness of staff, location & restaurant quality
Paying to park
Room comfort, air conditioning and friendliness of reception staff.
Having to pay to park my car. Egg ordered at breakfast was very burnt when served.
Location to Lake District
Older receptionist only friendly towards English customers. Seemed annoyed to have to wait while I produce my ID. Did not tell us about the facilities available eg restaurant. Waited 40 min for the cooked breakfast on first day. Polish girl at breakfast (Kat) tried to overcharge us on the last day. Saw a couple who came in, took breakfast and left without paying right under the nose of the staff and manager.
The location and the availability of parking.
