I couldn't fault this hotel. Staff were very friendly, and the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable.

The shower was just a trickle and the loo didn't flush properly. It was quite a way from the centre and we got lost a few times driving back to it. Not signposted well. No lift which was hard as my wife is quite pregnant and there was a disabled lady on the 1st floor also. Quite expensive for a 2 night stay.

Friendly staff welcomed me back after my long daily stint at commonwealth games.

The interruption by the faulty fire alarm from brewers fayre next door when went off twice during my stay.

The Reception staff addressed all important information before I'd even thought to ask.

The Brewer's Fayre attached to the hotel.

breakfast and the attached pub that served food until late

The price was very high £99 for a night. The Fire alarm sounding 3 times in the night, around midnight, 2:30 and around 6:15. Poor nights sleep after a busy day.

Food was very good for a Brewers Fayre. Breakfast was excellent.

Having requested secure storage for my bike on my booking form, they' refused to supply it and I had to leave it out side the hotel for all to see. Very upset about that. I would not have stayed there if I had known that would happen.

    The road out of it

Lenny Henry promotes comfortable beds and a restful night. Not so. The bed sprang about as if it was on a Bungy cord and was hard. Lots of noise from people talking in the corridor. I had the tv on low and the people next door complained, so I had to turn it lower then we could not hear it. The receptionist was going to charge for breakfast when I had already paid in my Booking. Breakfast was just about warm for a cooked breakfast. Won't be booking Premier inn's again

I liked that it had a brewers fayre on site for breakfast and lunch. Rooms were clean and bed comfortable.

We were in a rush when we got to hotel to be ready for a wedding, requested early check in but reception took a while to check us in and at first told us we could not check in until 2pm and that our room might not be ready, we booked through booking.com and only room available was family so we booked but she would not let us use this room and changed to a double which took more time. We also wanted to pay cash and couldnt as i did not have my passport luckily enough i had my card with me.
