Excellent all round

room was great and breakfast was great and a good choice

The bed was super comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The Bernie Inn was just next door and very good too.

Breakfast Evening meal close by & affordable On site car parking

Room heating not up to scratch, had to ask for a portable heater.

The welcome and the pleasantness of the reception was fantastic. I will definately stay here again if the need arises.

The girl at reception was apologetic and offered to set up another bed in the room. Nice to have restaurant facilities on site. Quiet and clean accommodation.

I made my booking through booking.co. I booked and paid for a family room to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. On arrival I was to find out that only a single room had been reserved. There was no offer of any compensation and the room was kitted out for one person E.g we only had one towel. The receptionist was apologetic and offered to make up another bed in the room. However, this wasn't what I had paid for

Room was big, spotless and clean. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Nothing was too much bother, we needed taxis, and information for bus back home. Staff got it sorted out very quickly for us. We will be back, thanks!

From the moment we arrived we were met with friendly faces and helpful reception staff. The room was spacious and very clean and tidy. The breakfasts (bufffet) were plentiful and freshly cooked. For the cost of the two day stay my wife and I were very impressed by accommodation, staff and food. Having stayed inmany hotels world wide this stay was up there with the best of them.

The friendliness of the staff stood out head and shoulders above everything else.

About the inn itself, I liked pretty well everything - facilities good for the price, staff friendly and helpful, situation good - no problems! However, I was a little less impressed with the pub/eatery next door. Nothing bad enough to make an actual complaint, just generally disappointing in layout, number of staff on duty, speed of service . . . . OK, I suppose, but no better. The staff were doing what they could, but there were not enough of them in the evening (slow service) and too many in the morning (over-attentive at first, then bore and away chatting . . . they just couldn't get it right. As stated above, no real grounds for complaint - but if I use you again I will plan a pub/restaurant elsewhere, and I will not take breakfast.

I would have liked to have some way of doing some laundry, the laundomat was a fair way away.

We were only there 1 night but staff were friendly and helpful, food was good, included breaky was very good. Easy to find.

Our family just spent 2 weeks in the UK with multiple stops and hotels. This hotel was perfect for us as a family and suited our needs. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall it was comfortable, clean and our family room was adequately spacious for our needs. Breakfast was value for money with our daughter of 15 dining for free with 2 paying adults

The room was quite hot and stuffy, especially if 3 people all were showering etc. Aircon would have been great!
