Located within 5 minutes' drive of both the M56 motorway and the M6 motorway, this Premier Inn offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. The Swan Brewers Fayre pub-restaurant is located on site.
Score from 248 reviews Very good
Located just 3 miles from Knutsford and the M6 Motorway’s junction 19, ibis Budget Knutsford features non-smoking accommodation with free WiFi available throughout the hotel.
Score from 143 reviews Fabulous
Just outside the stylish Cheshire town of Knutsford and very close to the M6 and M56, this luxury 4-star hotel is a great for exploring Manchester, Chester, Liverpool and the Northwest.
Score from 111 reviews Very good
A red-bricked, Victorian archway leads to The Mere's acres of countryside, 18-hole championship golf course and spa. Local produce is served on seasonal menus at the 3 restaurants and lounge bars.
Score from 186 reviews Fabulous
Convenient just off the motorway. Staff were very good. Restaurant was just ok but fine
Disabled room was not a wetroom. Whats wrong with premier inns ?????? for such a large chain they really are quite useless and too tight to spend money on disabled rooms. Shame on them. Also still having to pay for wifi again ripp off premier inns. Only stay with them if no other options as every time feel ripped off.
Great staff with the usual Premier smile. Very helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Good nights sleep.
The food next door.
Bed was very comfortable. Restaurant was well catered, prices a little high but good quality. So worth a little extra.
The lack of free wifi. Other hotels do offer this free.
Staff very friendly and accommodating far beyond a "budget" hotel, the place feels very well managed, good pub/restaurant next door, excellent road links
Eleonora my waitress was superb, very quick , efficient , nothing was too much trouble, reception very friendly, bar staff good and polite.Food very good value for money, breakfast fine.Room adequate.
Noise of traffic with window open on warm night not good, noise of cars collecting staff late at night and delivering staff early morning disturbing.
The staff were very good in the hotel and the staff in the restaurant were excellent.
The chef was a prima donna. First night I asked for a medium rare steak and was given a blue one. Second attempt was nearer the mark. Second night the ( Expensive ) fish and chips was the worst I have ever had. Went back a week later at the weekend and the restaurant was as dead as a dodo. Did ask for a special which the restaurant manager thought would be no problem but the chef couldn't be bothered. The menu and particularly the specials wasn't appealing so had cheese and biscuits and a drink with the barman as its was so quite. Tend to think the kitchen needs sorting out
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room wasn't the cleanest. There was a promotional leaflet from the previous occupants under one bed and some debris under the other. So I wasn't filled with confidence in the level of cleanliness.
Was staying night before a wedding - and reception staff (2 - both night and day) were really helpful with directions to 2 separate locations. Clean with great facilities including hair dryer and tea/coffee making. Breakfast was relaxed and efficient. Hotel on the main road and really easy to find - well signposted.
Nothing - would highly recommend. The usual high standard and great value for money service.
Location close to M6 so ideal for travellers or stopping encounter.
Premier inn guarantee a good nights sleep,we were possibly just unlucky but found the bed really uncomfortable and neither of us woke feeling rested. We may not have said anything, however when our breakfast was served that was In edible. The Manager totally agreed and apologised. When checking out we mentioned our issues to the receptionist on duty on 30/8/14. And was told Oh well I always sleep well indicating we were not telling the truth. That made us feel very uncomfortable . We have always had excellent service in the past from Premier so hope this incident was a one off.
Comfortable, quiet, large room. Good bathroom. Good restaurant on site. Excellent staff, very friendly and efficient.
There was nothing to dislike about the hotel except that it turned out to be further from the venue of the wedding we were attending than we had expected, but that was our own responsibility
Location ideal for our needs. Bed was large and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Staff very pleasant and obliging. Good to have wi-fi in the rooms but could not see the reason why only limited time access, without paying for extra for added time.
Entrance was rather scruffy and tired looking. 1st floor corridor had a musty unpleasant damp smell. Disturbed on both nights by the mechanical sound of a pump, (later told it was a cooling fan motor) cutting in and out at irregular intervals. The machine either needs new bearings or rubber floor mounts to cushion the noise. With windows open, for ventilation, the noise became quite a disturbing nuisance.
Nice friendly staff, good facililties & comfortable bed.
Very comfortable rooms in a quiet location. Helpful and friendly reception staff, especially Emma.
Slept very well the first night but on the second, a Saturday, we were woken by people returning to their rooms between 1.15am and 2am, clearly unable to read the signs asking guests to be quiet. Also would have liked two armchairs in the room rather than just the one.
The staff were fantastic and the food great and reasonably priced.
Close to the airport, easy to access, cut-price but still decent and the Kilton Inn pub in the building served us all (two vegetarians as well) excellent food for the evening.
Not really any space left in a family room with four beds and the luggage. A luggage storage would have been really appreciated.
Close to wedding venue (kind of subjective i know!)
My mate booked before me and got the room next door cheaper... hey-ho!
No comfortable chair in room
1) The beds aren't long enough. I'm only 5ft 10 and my feet hung over the end of the bed. 2) why was a member of staff being trained outside my door before 10am. Surely, if you had a new housekeeper you would train them after checkout? 3) bathroom radiator on when it was 28 degrees outside. 4) staff couldn't be arsed to call a taxi so they give you list a of random numbers...
very good receptionists. Good comfortable bed with the option of extra pillows and an optional sheet in the hot weather
Insufficient coffee etc in bedroom
My friend and I spent an enjoyable three nights here while visiting the Tatton Park flower show. It's well situated for Tatton and the staff were all lovely.
We'd like to have been able to open the windows fully as it was very hot.
Good location which was handy for our visit to Tatton Park. Our room was at the back of the hotel and a noisy generator from the pub next door disturbed our sleep, however we were offered another room in a quieter part of the hotel by a friendly member of reception staff
We had a meal in the restaurant which consisted of numerous delays for our food and took over 2 hours from start to finish. The cost of the wine was extortionate.
Staff we're extremely helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable and bed size exceptional. Food was really lovely.
For ease, comfort, service and economy it couldn't have suited our needs better. Thank you for a very good nights sleep between two very busy and demanding days
The sign is obscured by a tall hedge when you are driving along the A50 .
Staff were excellent, couldn't do enough for us. Pub adjoining the hotel was friendly with nice food
