Fantastic service: clean, simple, did exactly what it said on the tin. Staff were exceptional though.
Staff were very helpful and genuine.
No air conditioning.Bed base covering torn in places. Mattress too springy hence any movement transmitted throughout the bed - disturbing the other person.
Full English breakfast was very good and really set us up for the day.
Early closure of restaurant at weekend was disappointing.
Staff and situation close to M6 junction
You know what you are getting and the room is spacious with plenty of room for luggage and sufficient hangers for clothing. the location is very convenient despite the dreadful roadworks.
lack of an extr easy chair in the room. Wall mounted soaps not easy to access when you are either bathing, showering or washing. meagre selection of tea and coffee.
Located not far from M6 so easy to find. No traffic notice though. Was only there for one night but it was fine. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Excellent value for money.
Nothing not to like
bed, restaurant , staff kindness
lack of sockets on the wall
The room was very warm in July.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the room very clean and with all the facilities you might need
The first room we were in was just above the boiler room which could be heard going on and off during the night and disturbed our sleep. That said, the staff were very understanding and moved us and our luggage to a great room for our second night. I recommend that room 83 is only used as a last resort or not at all. If used, at a lower rate.
Close to Motorway (but didn't hear it) Spacious room 24hr reception Tea & coffee provided spare pillows Included a portable fan to deal with the heat. Thought of trying on the get a free nights stay guarantee but didn't think any of the negatives prompted a good enough excuse.
No free biscuits! (it's the little things!) Bad phone reception on the lower floor Bed could have been comfier, but I did get a good nights sleep. using the basin taps sounded an almost fog horn sound, think the pipes need a look at.
Clean, comfortable, good value. Friendly and helpful staff.
Limited facilities eg couldn't eat in because the time to wait for a table was 1.5 hours, no lounge bar
Quality accommodation at a competitive price
The staff were polite and friendly. The menu in the restaurants quite nice.
No one gave us a hand in moving our luggages.
My wife and I have stayed at this Inn many times travelling to Scotland and it ticks all the boxes for all the right reasons. This last time we had our grandchildren with us and the soft play area is an absolute boon. \\great stop over, keep it up Premier!
Nice hotel with friendly staff. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed.
We didn't have breakfast as it was quite expensive. Maybe review the cost and include it in the room price
Nice comfy bed and spacious room and bathroom
Soap dispenser in shower and handwash basin. Didn't work properly and not pleasant to use
Free parking, edge of town, M6 nearby
Expensive - even when considering Saturday in August
Helpful staff...we forgot to bring a travel cot and it was no hassle for the staff member to provide on arrival. Room was well aired and facilities were excellent. The ability to come and go as we pleased was unrestricted. The only minor downside was traffic noise due to warm weather and needing to leave window open but didn't prevent a good nights sleep, also, a fan was provided in the room which was a really nice consideration.
very pleasant helpful staff, very clean.perfect for break near motorway on a long drive .
breakfast was a bit chaotic not very calming start to the day could be improved on A LOT. Has put me off staying for breakfast as they are not cheap did expect better
the convenience for our reasons for being there.
Booked some time ago but we were still given a room top floor and as far from reception as possible. Normal circumstance could have tolerated that but the lift was broken and had been for TWO WEEKS!. awaiting a part was the reason? Also the bathroom smelt - not good.
Staff were all professional helpful and happy .
Location is good
We had a room next to the road . Wasnt able to leave the window open because of the noise
Friendly competent staff
Traffic noise is really bad. M6 on the doorstep
Unable to sleep as the room was really hot and despite opening the window as best I could, I was unable to get a decent sleep. Why do they the room so hot in August?
