One evening meal. Cold and overcooked. Highlighted to staff
Up to Premier Inn's usual high standards.
Route to and from M1 was difficult. Bath rather small. Could colour of walls be a shade lighter in future refurbs?
Very friendly service especially the receptionist when we arrived she was so pleasant. The bed was so comfy.
Nothing to say
The male reception staff went above and beyond what he needed to do to help me, he printed maps for me unprompted. All staff very friendly.
Having to book dinner for the adjacent restaurant. Service very slow, First nights stay as a solo diner eating a two course meal took 2 1/2 hrs from arrival to Bill arriving.
Friendly staff Very Clean Hotel Comfortable bed
Lovely little hotel and the staff were really friendly. They didn't have facilities to provide room service however the attached pub were more than happy to send the food to my room! The room was comfortable and clean and I would definitely recommend!
Wished they had their own room service.
staff were all friendly and helpful - especially in the restaurant next door.
poor cleaning standards in the room I was given.
Room was clean and functional Slept well, no noise.
Would have liked more than one coffee sachet each as we like to wake up and relax with a coffee or two.
We understand that this hotel has been refurbished and it showed. Everything in the room was sparkling, it looked as though the furnishing was brand new. We had no complaints about the room whatsoever. I can appreciate why Lenny Henry is overjoyed- we were too. We were pleasantly surprised at the range of food available at Breakfast it was delightful. Would not hesitate,if all Premier Inns are of this standard to use them in the future or recommend to friends.
Whilst the meals available were first class,we had our evening meal at 7pm but found the restaurant was rather chilly. We mentioned this at reception and she was going to take this up with the restaurant manager.
Everything about this hotel was perfect the room and staff were great. The bed was so comfortable one of the best nights sleep I have had in a very long time.
There was nothing I did not like
Modern, clean and friendly
- I personally do not like the new beds - they are too soft and I prefer the old Premier inn beds that were quite hard
Heating system was broken. One room booked was cols dispite heater
Very friendly & helpful staff. I didn't come across a single staff member who failed to smile or say hello. Breakfast piping hot. Be aware it arrives very quickly so if you wish cereal or fruit delay your order until you want your bacon & egg. 30 minutes free wifi a nice touch although the paid wifi is not expensive.
Whilst the road noise (M1) was not a problem in November it might be an issue in the summer months. Bathroom was a little cold. The bedroom warmed up very quickly but the bathroom remained chilly.
Rooms very quiet and comfortable, just what you need to put your head down.
a few housekeeping issues, had to get more towels, couple of marks on sheets. Otherwise ok.
Although we had a good stay the bed felt a little worn and dipped and sagged so a little uncomfortable also not enough pressure in shower but we do enjoy staying here and have booked again for New Years eve but hopefully we will not be in the same room. Apart from this we look forward to many more visits
Shower pressure too low and bed sagging and dipped so uncomfortable
cleanliness - location - family room was very nice - parking was ample
outside of building looked like a converted block of flats - noise from upstairs was a bit off putting.
The attitude of the receptionist, who was very helpful and demonstrated his willingness to assist us in any way that we required so that we enjoyed our stay even though it was only for one night.
Freshly refurbished room
Nothing, at this price
Absolutely spotless, lovely comfy bed, nice and quiet, excellent value for money.
Extractor fan in bathroom didn't work. Also no hairdryer in rooms. Stayed at another Premier Inn last month and same issue as they are in the process of changing them all. But seriously, how long should it take??
The restaurant attached to the Inn is great, bar or table service dining. Great choice and good value with excellent service.
All was good
Everything about the Hotel was marvellous. The staff were very helpful.
Our stay was great, with a relaxing and peaceful enviroment. One of the best places we stopped.
Not enough coffee and sugar in rooms
Staff extremely helpful, rooms clean, tidy and up to date! Hotel next door god meal and breakfast very good! Highly recommend staying here!
The modern decor Comfy bed Friendly staff
Shower pressure wasn't great
