A magnificent estate, Rothley Court Hotel has an oak-paneled restaurant and wonderful classic features. The stunning 10-acre grounds feature trout streams, rose walks and a 13th-century chapel.
Score from 228 reviews Very good
peace and quiet and fayre & square next door
Location and excellent value for money. The marketing sets an expectation and they exceed it. Very clean and comfortable
Food at the pub in the car park was a bit dodgy
stayed one night. not one problem The best Premier Inn we stayed in.
Cant honestly say. Very impressed.
The location was very good, we were attending a wedding at Rothley Court Hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. We would recomend the Premier Inn to our friends without hesitation.
Location(just of roundabout on a50 road). Friendly staff. good Secure(ish) play area for the kids. Proximity to m1, decent prices
Really nothing to dislike
Responsive staff cleanliness privacy good sleep
Lack of telephone for alarm calls
Found staff to be friendly pleasant and very helpful
The greeting we had at reception on arrival was excellent. The room was very good and the pillows on the bed were the best that ever!
The breakfast was very good.
The receptionist when we checked out was on her mobile to a family member and was not interested in us checking out or saying thank you or goodbye.
Overall, very pleasant experience
Great location, just off the M1. Staff very friendly, helpful and smiling. Room nice and clean. Play area attached to the pub was a great distraction for my young kids. Would definitely stay there again and also look at staying at other premier inn locations in the future as price was very good value for money.
It was a comfortable and pleasant hotel..would have liked to have stayed a few more days.
The location was easy to find and the staff were courteous and extremely helpful. Check in was quick and easy as I booked online and all our details were correct. A painless start to our stay.
The attached pub was grubby to say the least, there were dirty plates, cutlery and glasses on just about every table, this was not helped by the fact that a large party was leaving as we arrived. When we did eventually find a clear table it was sticky and the condiments hadn't been topped up so there were no napkins condiments etc. There were loads of staff present but only a few seemed to be doing the lion share of the work while others chatted and drank coffee. Finally when I went to pay there was only 1 staff member on the bar and taking payment, this resulted in a 10 minute wait.
The room looked tired could do with air-con newer bathrooms toilet really noisy.
size of room and good comfort level. Staff very jolly and helpful
The whole complex is very "tired" The colour scheme was depressing, dull and lacked light. The dark doors and woodwork don't help. Needs a major update.
The hotel room was very comfortable and clean
The restaurant where breakfast was served, Fayre & Square, everything felt sticky, certainly not as clean as the hotel. 4 sets of customers came in just after 9 and were refused a cooked breakfast. 9am breakfast cut off for a leisure stay is simply to early. The staff were unaccommodating.
Great location. Breakfast excellent which was served in the pub next door. Rooms clean and spacious.
The bed was a hard but we still slept well.
I stayed the night before my wedding day the staff were brilliant on the morning of my wedding made me feel relaxed and had everything to hand when I needed it had an fantasic nights sleep too can't wait to stay again xxx
location back from busy road, so quiet after bar section had closed.
Located on a road with no sidewalks, making it difficult to get around on foot.
Staff where very friendly young lady on reception in the morning remembered me From a previous stay was which I found very nice made time to talk as I was on my own made all the difference I stay one night a month which is 110 miles from home I will now only stay at tis premier inn
It was a very clean, well maintained room which had ample space for all four of us. Breakfast was very good and the staff were attentive.
We found the mattresses a bit hard!
Location was ideal for what we wanted and no parking worries. Although pretty full the hotel was fairly quiet all night
Bed was a bit hard for us and room had a very slight smokey or some other odd smell when we first opened the door.
The place was clean and very tidy to a high standard and the room was as advertised online. Everything was very clean, and the bed was just so comfy. I would recommend the anyone to try a night or two or even a whole week! great value for money.
I would like the pub next door to make sure that when they close for business at the end of the night, they collect and clean all empty pint glasses and bin all the empty bottles. I stood by my room window after 1am and there were lots of pint glasses and used plates that were left on nearly all the tables outside and cats were scavenging for food and left overs. just so you know I was in room 46 so I had a very good view of what was in the garden. in the morning I couldn't bare the thought of going for breakfast because I just concluded that the cleanliness wasn't up to scratch. I'm certain that all the guests who stay at the Premier Inn use the pub next door for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Your hotel is good and the breakfast was excellent in the attached restaurant.
bThe evening meal in the attached restaurant was awful. Poor service inexperienced and not enough waiting staff. Fried food tasted as though the oil had been over used. The salad tasted like it needed washing and the "french dressing" was like nothing I have ever tasted.
