Friendly staff & comfortable room
Paying for wifi
As we only had cash with us and no I'd our friends had to pay for our room as it was NYE it was very embarrassing and I thought unnecessary as I had booked the rooms so you had all of my details.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The paid for wifi was excellent. Food in the neighbouring bar was to a reasonably good standard.
Although a convenient location it is right next to a very busy road. Thankfully I still had a peaceful nights sleep.
excellent pub linked. good accommodation
difficult to find entrance to car park when first arrived. Sat nav took us to main road, no entrance there so got lost and found it quite stressful to find way back.
Breakfast, although @ £8.75 it was overpriced.
Price & the lack of help from Booking.com
I stayed here for two nights, the room was very clean , comfortable, a choice of pillow, i slept very well both nights. The staff were wonderful, very helpful and informative and happy! I also opted for breakfast which was delicious , very well cooked with a very wide choice , catering for vegetarians also. Highly recommend. The staff in the resturant were also very pleasant helpful and courteous. I left an item behind and contacted the hotel, the receptionist Emma found it in no time and told me how I could have it returned to me She was very helpful. Thank you !
The wifi was a bit sporadic, and not clear how to log off. I purchased a 24 hr session and each time turned off my own wifi connection but that didn't seem to log me off, I definatley did not use 24 hrs worth but it ran out on the saturday afternoon , I didn't bother renewing it .
I booked a lot of rooms in Premier Inn. Nearly all the same. Good value. This one is quite far away from Liverpool.
Location of hotel. Being able to park the car onsite for free for the whole stay.
The noise from people in the corridors was very loud late at night! This resulted in a poor nights sleep!!
The bed was comfortable, staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Hotel didn't smell very clean, old fashioned, needs modernising, the bars on the window were off putting and there is no bar/food facilities. Wouldn't recommend if you are going for a weekend to Liverpool.
Only draw back was room smelt fusty reported to staff on leaving and they where going to look into it
Comfort and friendliness of staff as found in other locations. Clean, warm cosy rooms. Nice bath room. Good restaurant/bar facilities at reasonable prices.
Having to pay for WiFi which is standard in most hotels in this age. No comfort chair (arm/soft) in room. This particular location entrance was difficult to find off the main road.
Room nice and clean bed great nice helpfull staff
Breakfast was a joke to be fair we were told 30-40 min delay after an hour plus was not on we were just about to walk out and next thing it was ready. we did relize it was very bizzy but no excuse buffet breakfast would be a great idea help yourself would be a great improvement buy the time it arrived my wife was not looking forward to it. to be fair we were refunded breakfast bill but that didnt make up for waiting over a hour. plus it wouldnt put us off staying there again if its bizzy we will look elsewere for breakfast
Jay was really helpful, he really went above and beyond to advise us of the best places to see, eat and get around. He was superb and so helpful :)
Spotless room lovely and peaceful very friendly staff and lovely bar/resteraunt on site cant fault in any way am staying again in 2 weeks
Very friendly and helpful staff.
The disabled access room with wet room was too far from reception.
It was the first time we had used this Premier Inn, the staff were very helpful and polite, they even found us a post code for the docks we needed. The room was clean and we had a good nights sleep, we couldn't ask for more, thank you all.
The only problem is there is no lift to the upper floors, but when you book let the staff know if you can't manage the stairs and they will give you a ground floor room, problem sorted.
Steak very tough even though minute/thin steak and considering the size 6oz lot of grissle.
It's in a good location There's an eaterie next door The staff refunded our money for a poor night's sleep
The duvets are too warm for autumn The proferred sheets would have been too cold for autumn We had, therefore, to have the windows open and were woken by the noise of late night revellers and taxis
4th bed was basically a small mattress on the floor, not very confortable.
On arrival we were warmly greeted. We were shown a secure and dry place we could leave our bicycles. The staff chatted to us about our Liverpool - Leeds cycle and seemed genuinely interested.
Was disappointed with our evening meal and breakfast. At breakfast the music was very annoying.
The beds are to die for ...
When your key doesn't work and your room is at the other end of the hotel, you have to walk all the way back to reception with your bags to get it sorted. An intercom on the corridors to reception would be a great idea. The two staff were just sat at reception. It would've been much less stressful if the coud've come to me instead of me dragging my case back and forth, up and down stairs, in my painful shoes after a long journey.
Nice hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent value for money and very easy to find. Food in restaurant was also very good and excellent value.
Was given wrong room on arrival but that was easily sorted out. Still not ideal after travelling 4.5 hours with 2 young children.
Cleanliness. Comfort Parking
Traffic noise was an issue if the window was open. Not a lot can be done with that, however it was too hot in the room with the window closed.
Great service, lovely breakfast
No air con in room, far too hot
