I was there for my fathers funeral and when we arrived (I was visibly upset) on Wednesday lunchtime the girl on reception was lovely and came up to me later and said that if there was anything I needed just let her know. It was so kind. The next day the lady at breakfast was equally nice. Such lovely staff.
As a frequent Premier inn user, it has become my hotel of choice as I know what to expect and am hardly ever disappointed
Nothing on this vcisit
The staff here are always so friendly, welcoming and ready to help at any time. They are excellent role models for others in the industry. I wouldn't change a thing!
Location Staff Cleanliness
Temperature of the room wouldn't adjust
After having a bath, noticed the carpet on the other side of the wall was sodden indicating the bath was leaking. Also when you empty the bath the waste water would gurgle in the toilet, possible plumbing problem.
Would not even make the bed on arrival chucked the clean sheets on the floor.
Restsaurant near by, friendly desk clerk, comfortable bed
Cold room, bathroom without heating,
The location, with a rail line connection into the heart of the city of Liverpool at Lime Street Station. Also the ambience of the location.
The reception staff were extremely friendly and very helpful.
Location , staff very friendly, excellent breakfasts, Fair pricing, all staff were local people which really helped the atmosphere of the Hotel, typical scouse humour and warmth!
Had arranged for family reunion on Sunday, after a good afternoon We had more guests in the evening and were just getting comfortable when we were informed that the bar was closing at 8.30 pm!!!!!!!!!! Very disappointed with this as the hotel lost a lot of business that night, family very annoyed, we could have been informed earlier in the day and then could have gone elsewhere, we were returning home for a holiday in Liverpool as we reside in Australia, staff training on a busy Sunday night? Very poor timing indeed.
Breakfast served was slow, 20 mins waiting at first. Too long waiting for toast to be done. No milk jugs for tea, coffee. I thought food was poor. When first arrived was told breakfast finished at 12 biting the morning found that the buffet finished at 11 so not much time to eat. A lot of food had finished and wasn't replaced. I think at £70 breakfast should have been included. I travelled back to London a little hungry, not happy
2nd premier inn we have stayed at and the level of comfort and service is good. Good parking and reasonably easy to locate
The rooms were very hot even in September. The kids eat free only works if you book a full breakfast this was not explained I had to book a cook breakfast even tho I only wanted the continental. Surely the kids should just get the same level of breakfast that the adults book?
Staff wer lovely rooms wer fab and location was not bad was a little bit out from centre but would deffo stay here again.
Didn't sleep well as room was too hot and fan too noisy.
The room was nice and the staff was really nice, helped us to our room with all out things as we just got married so had quite a few things
The fire Alarm went off early in morning, woke us up and couldn't get back to sleep
Closeness to venue
We had an excellent stay
Location Size & comfort of bed Good en-suite Adjacent bar & restaurant Easy check in & departure
Nothing worthy of mention
The location is excellent. The car parking and the grounds in which the hotel is set are also excellent. The staff went that extra mile to ensure our stay was first class. The food was very good and the service first class.
Having to leave.
Friendly welcome and staff in Restaurant .
The Location of the hotel was ideal for us and restaurant with good food on premises was very good. On arrival the reception staff were very helpful and were throughout our stay and held our luggage for us until our rooms were prepared for check in. The Domestic staff were very pleasant and helpful with any thing we needed.
The hotel needs upgraded. Beds were uncomfortable. Family rooms were the similar size to the double rooms so was very crowded with four of us in it. I understand it is an old building with character but facilities inside hotel were no comparison to the Premier Inn we stayed in at the Print works in Manchester the previous evening.
The location, Facilities and staff were great- especially Pearl the Breakfast manager, a star in the business, very welcoming, professional and friendly with all guests.
The gents toilets were horrendous. They had not been cleaned from the night before and were stinking of urine, the floors, sink and WC were also filthy. Not what you want to be greeted with just after breakfast! The business should not have been opened to the public with the toilets in this condition.
Staff were very helpful ,when I stayed the trains were not running and they were very helpful sorting taxi out so I was really happy .
Location to train station
would prefer a self service breakfast
