Closeness of Beefeater for meals.
Could hear a fan all through the night.
Good value for money
Kate on the reception was fantastic with a brilliant personality and her PR skills excellent. Oh and she is good looking :)
Nothing really to complain about.
Although not in the city centre we found that the Premier Inn West Derby was perfect for a weekend in Liverpool. To say it was a derby weekend we got excellent value for money with the hotel costing £100 less than the city centre hotels and that price including breakfast. It is definitely worth being that little bit further away as it's only around £7 in a local taxi.
We found it to be quite a walk to our room although the room was worth a walk.
Spacious Room and large bed. Free wi-fi for 30 mins
Room was so hot couldn't sleep. Staff told us there is a problem with the building that makes it that way. They pointed out that there was a fan in the room and they provided a sheet instead of duvet.
Friendly staff, location of hotel and cleanliness of hotel.
No air conditioning so room was very warm.
Beefeater restaurent breakfast good value
Room 4 bed was so uncomfortable, worst 2 nights sleep we ever had.
The staff were friendly, room was ok, beds were clean.
I did not like the overpowering smell of stale urine in the bathroom, had to keep door shut to stop smell coming into room. Could do with a couple of bottles of bleach being used in there. My son was also woken up by a truck or lorry in car park at back. I would still probably use premier inns again though as problems are minor which could easily be rectified. Still good value for money
Nice location, easy access to city centre and the football grounds. Pleasant staff, room was good size for a family of four and beds were comfortable - one double bed and 2 singles for the kids. Didn't make use of the restaurant or breakfast facilities so can't comment on them but it was a good stay
Can't think of anything!
Helpful and friendly staff
Extremely long way to my room. No free WiFi which is standard for every other hotel I've stayed in
Although I didn't realise I'd booked a disabled room, it was a nice room, nice and quiet area of the hotel, clean, the pillows were to die for, I actually forgot to ask where I could buy some! All the staff in the hotel were all so friendly and helpful! ! Not to far from the city centre. Liverpool has to be one of my favourite cities!
When I booked the room on the Internet it didn't specify that it was disabled! It was fine but I did feel a bit awkward because maybe someone with disabilities could of needed that specific room. Decent room though.
The staff were so helpful we had a noisy neighbour we informed the staff we were moved rooms and the culprit was delt with
Location, clean, comfy beds, secure car park.
Our room was a huge trek and with two kids and lot of luggage it was hard work. Also no phone in room so everytime we needed anything like, iron, towels it was a very long trek to reception.
Not to far from city centre ,taxie fares cheap, also could book it from hotel xx
location, staff friendly and helpfull
room bit small, beds not great
really friendly and welcoming staff. The food at the attached beefeater was supurb we were up for the weekend game so it was busy however the manager and staff in the restaurant were extremely attentive and apologetic for the slightly longer than normal wait. They even went as far as insisting we had a free round of drinks, I cannot recommend them enough, really warm and friendly staff. Breakfast was also supurb value.
No complaints at all, the whole experience was great and made for a wonderfull weekend in a brilliant and friendly city.
Beefeater next door
The staff were friendly and very helpful, good value for money which included breakfast for 4.
Staff were lovely and helpful. Restaurant/ bar was nice and reasonably priced. Fantastic location due to going to anfield
Bed was not comfy. Paid £6 for wi-fi that didn't work. Food at breakfast was not great on first morning. Either soggy or burnt but second morning was a lot better. Wouldn't be my first choice but would stay again.
Staff were great, really helpful.
some noisy visitor's . Not premiers fault.
No air con :(
Location, friendly staff, stag and rainbow for food.
Thought it was expensive for a premier inn because it was the british open golf tournament at hoykake. mens toilets in stag & rainbow left a lot to be desired - my husband slipped on the wet floor (not water!) but somehow stopped himself from falling - coyld have had serious consequences.
I requested twin beds 10 days before arrival and was told when I arrived that it was not possible to have twin beds because I had booked a disabled room. The decor was in poor condition and the double bed was of moderate size.
