Room was clean and fresh, bed was extremely comfy, value for money. Excellent location if you are touring Edinburgh as its only 20mins away by car or there is a railway station less than 5 mins drive away.
Breakfast was expensive, it was all you can eat mind you but who eats large meals at that time of the morning. Didn't pay for the WIFI as its the only hotel we have stayed in that we would have to pay.
The bed The cleaning
Staff friendliness and attention to detail. Attavhed facilities
Attached restaurant staff too stretched
Restaurant seemed to be understaffed so took some time before being served at dinner and breakfast.
Bed super comfy
It was freezing in the room and heater did not work. Bath was very dirty with hair
Room and restaurant were very good.
Room 19 was next to a door leading to the lobby. I was woken by a group coming into the inn. They talked outside our window and through the doors and down the passage. After that every one going through that door, it clicked shut every time, disturbed me. I did not complain at the desk next morning as I had to find my way across Livingston and enquired about that.
Only slight problem was access - I am on crutches and the doors were very heavy and difficult to manage! But room set up well and staff helpful.
The staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Good friendly atmosphere.
Very minor point, but could you put shortbread or biscuits in the rooms to go with the hospitality tray?
Great location - Clean - Friendly staff - Next to a petrol station with an M&S.
Wasn't too keen on the breakfast as I thought it was a buffet
friendly staff nice clean room, excellent brealfast?
everything really good only small niggle was that i had paid for my wee girls breakfast, which after finishing breakfast wee iona had a menu saying children under a set age read breakfast free, all said very good stay thanx
friendly staff at reception clean and well mainteined room easy access to restaurant easy to find from M8 good value
location great.Staff really friendly. Dinner at night was bril & so was Breakfast.Going back to stay in couple of weeks.
The hotel was convenient for visiting attractions regardless how far you wanted to travel as the location is situated on a good network of motorways and A roads. We went as far as Perth and as local as Edinburgh.
The fire alarm went off at half 6 one morning. Everyone was evacuated? I don't know how the staff checked as the fire Marshall went round ticking random groups of people off. He certainly did not come to us. There were 7 of us and booked into 3 different rooms.
Good all round and what you expect from a good hotel
Room basic but comfortable Bed very comfortable
getting woken up at 5.00am by an inconsiderate guest
Just like every other Premier Inn you ever stayed in.
Cost, similar stay in Holliday Inn would have been cheaper
The family room was a good size and spotlessly clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable with directions and advice. The Beefeater Grill had really friendly staff and although it is a busy place, service was really fast and efficient. Their breakfast is also superb and in plentiful supply. A great hotel, really peaceful and quiet at night, we slept brilliantly.
The hotel location was easy to find and provided a good base for sightseeing especially for Edinburgh and its attractions. Surrounding areas were accessible with the good motorway network.
People who did not heed to hotel regulations and safety of others by smoking in their room. Hence setting of the fire alarm!
Room very nice, clean, and bathroom excellent Staff first class
Local yobs racing/revving their scooters/mopeds outside between 12 midnight and 0115 in the morning My wife and I got up and made ourselves tea
The breakfast.. Excellent food and presentation! Huge room very comfy beds!
Rooms very hot. No climate control in rooms. Staff did finally provide 1 fan. This was the only Premier Inn we were not satisfied with. Price was about double other Premier Inns.
Desk staff were extremely helpful.
