Score from 131 reviews Excellent
Nearly 200 years old, this former inn has its own grounds and overlooks the Ashburnham golf links. With views of Gower Peninsula, it is on the edge of the Millennium coastal paths and bike tracks.

The staff. Excellent breakfast at the Sandpiper.
The local taxi service was hopeless in spite of the efforts of the staff to gee them up!!
Room was fine.
Brewers Fayre The Sandpiper was atrocious! Evening food and atmosphere pretty poor but breakfast was appalling. Nobody there to greet, waited 25 mins for breakfast once ordered then it was cold and eggs very over cooked.
I think this Premier Inn is about the best we have stayed in with it's wonderful waterside location. It looks as though the company has upgraded many of the fixtures and fittings. Small details, which add to the overall experience of staying at the Inn. The room we had was immaculate. Congratulations to the cleaning staff who keep it so. The room overlooked the car park, and from there we could see the road. We didn't have any problem with traffic noise. The local staff employed on the desk were very pleasant and helpful.
I would have preferred that the windows opened, but it was a small detail, however not sure what it would be like in hot weather. We didn't fancy the restaurant next door for our evening meal as we don't really like fast food, and instead, we ate about a mile away in the vicinity of the North Dock, however we did breakfast at the next door Brewers Fayre where we were greeted by a pleasant lady and both of us really enjoyed the breakfast.
I wasn't happy with my stay at ur hotel. As I was awake most of the night. Because it was cold. Heating was turned up, but it kept going back down.
Didn't like, that I had to wrap a towel round me plus had PJs on and Blackett wrapped round myself and could still feel the cold
Really enjoyed our stay thankyou to all staff for making it a great stay
was a good located area and the staff were great. Room itself was clean and spacious. worked out perfect for me must say its good and worth it.
no reascon to put bad comment. worked out well personally.
Staff were friendly and welcoming. They made time to chat and get to know us. Rooms were immaculate and very, very quiet.
Good thing my shaver was rechargeable as I could not find an electric shaver point. Unusual as the hotel is so well appointed in many other ways. Must remember my adaptor next time.
Cleanliness of the hotel friendly staff and a good sized from for my family x
The grounds surrounding the Brewers Fayre restaurant which is on site with premier Inn are stunning. The hotel was lovely and clean staff exceptional. Unfortunately I did not get a good night sleep when we stayed and I did mention this to the hotel. To my delight they kept the Premier Inn promise and our money was refunded. But, I would most definitely stay there again.
Clean, comfortable and good value
The staff were very very helpful and nothing was to much trouble .Would stay again if in the area. Cheers Belinda & Paul .
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Location was convenient for coastal path and other attractions. Breakfast was good.
A call from hotel before our arrival how we want bed set up for the two kids. Lake and walk near by is excellent.
The bathroom had a sweat smell coming from it as if cleaned with wrong cloth. Restaurant next to it has poor quality food though service ok.
Very convenient location. Many of the staff were bilingual, and were friendly and helpful.
Difficult to criticise anything really.
Disabled room was not asked for
Big comfortable bed. Spacious room Nice bathroom with a great shower. Very quiet.
A little pricey No breakfast
Location - near Millennium coastal path and Sosban Restaurant. Comfort of bed, large room, good facilities, excellent bathroom, air conditioning being it was warm weather. Helpful and friendly staff. Best in the West
Clean and Comfortable
Unable to open window
chaotic restaurant due to lack of staff
Nice and handy for sightseeing. Close to good restaurant.
Room could havebeen bigger for two beds.
We were on a tight schedule coming from Ireland to watch the Heineken cup final in Cardiff, if all went well, we would make the hotel and then catch train to Cardiff in time. Rachel working at reception was aware of our tight schedule and wrote a really detailed e-mail with travel options and offering to call us a taxi when we were near to arriving. I thought her attitude and helpfullness was excellent customer service and thankyou :)
The staff were exceptional. Welcoming, helpful, friendly and professional. The room was, as with all premier inns, clean, spacious and comfortable.
Breakfast staff weren't great but don't suppose this relates directly to the premier inn. I thought £100 was over priced. Although a good stay i would have priced it closer to £70-80.
Comfy bed, lovely fluffy towels
Cokd mediocre breakfast
All the staff were helpful and understanding
The mattress on the double bed was dreadful - it was completely clapped-out - one could feel the springs digging into ones back. This mattress must have been very old - older than the hotel. It was ironic that Lenny Henry was advertising how comfortable the mattresses are at the Premier Inn when one could not get a comfortable night's sleep. Had to check out after 2 nights and go to another hotel. Premier Inn need to make sure that all the mattresses in all the rooms in all their hotels meet the advertised standard - otherwise what is the point of the Goodnight Guarantee!
clean,simple,friendly and helpful....say no more
