Days Inn Lockerbie (Annandale Water)  

Excellent facilities for exercising my dog round the lake. Lovely outlook from our room over the lake. Balcony to the room.

Disappointing choice of eating outlets - there is only Costa Coffee or the Burger Bar outlet which only had a limited menu, and also work taking place in the restaurant area was quite invasive whilst eating our meal.

the complex is in need of refurbishment it it looking shabby we were sold vouchers for breakfast but we had to buy our food from a burger joint and our coffee for costa coffee then find a place to sit and eat it

Nothing to not like

Accomodation, setting and location. Polite staff in the hotel.

The food is abysmal and overpriced. Don't bother buying the special offer vouchers. Get in the car and drive to Moffat or Lockerbie for a decent breakfast.

This was just a stop-over for us, on a very long journey. The lady on Reception was very helpful when we arrived (late in the evening). It served its purpose admirably - and as an added bonus we could watch the birds from the balcony in the morning!

Nothing to complain about really - although there was no-one around in the morning for us to ask about the breakfast vouchers. As it happened, it turned out to be cheaper to get the 2 for £12 deal for breakfast, rather than buy the vouchers at £7.50 each.

Facilities - no food available after 8.30 pm. Vouchers sold in Inn not acceptable at Costa coffee! No bed made up for 2nd child despite him being listed on confirmation receipt.

Friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble

Lovely lake to wlk around situated at the back of the hotel. This was a nice distraction to being situated just off the motorway.

Even though the hotel is situated just off the motorway there were very little places to eat nearby and travelled at least half an hour to find somewhere.

When I went for a meal at 21.05, only the coffee shop was open, I think clients who book via the net should be advised about this so they can stop for a meal before the get to Annandale Water services.

How often do you book a travelodge to find your room has a balcony overlooking a lake? Amazing.

Don't advertise free WiFi if the signal is so pathetic you can't use it.

The Location The view from the bedroom

We had no hot water for the duration of our stay. On reporting this we were advised it was too late (6pm) to do anything but we could use the bathroom next door. Not easy for someone severely disabled. The bathroom was so small it was impossible to manoeuvre the wheel chair next to the toilet seat.There is no light over the second bed, I reported the lack of hot water the next morning and was offered a free breakfast. It was11am

we used the hotel as an overnight stop on route to our holiday. very convenient, just what we needed. excellent

The services were odd, they seemed closed as they were cleaning up and there was no clean tables

Fab location as a stop over, we were travelling an 9 hour journey so this stop over was perfect. We arrived at 10 pm and was greeted by a lovely lady who couldn't do enough.
