We stayed in London to celebrate our 10th anniversary and chose this place to have a relaxing night after a tiring day. Hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood and a couple of mins walk to the tube (Belsize station) which is very convenient in exploring London. There's grocery and several restaurants nearby. Room and bathroom are always kept clean - bed and pillows are comfortable with really white sheets. We barely ate at their Thyme restaurant but when we got the chance to taste their food on our last day, we were sorry, we didn't eat there more often. Staff are very friendly and accomodating. 2 thumbs up for assisting us whenever we have queries and special requests! If you are looking for a practical option but can't sacrifice comfort, Premier Inn is your best choice. I will stay here again and will recommend this place to people that I know.
Nothing! We choose this place based on rating and feedback from reviews and were never disappointed.
WE ONLY SAMPLED BREAKFAST AND IT WAS EXCELLENT. WE LIKED THE IDEA OF HAVING COFFEE OUITSIDE ON A SUNDAY MORNING.
DID NOT LIKE THE PILLOWS WHICH CONTRIBUTED TO THE AWFUL NIGHT'S SLEEP. THE KENCO COFFEE IN THE ROOMS IS AWFUL BUT THE COFFEE IN THE RESTAURANT IS EXCELLENT.
Only two minutes from Belsize underground, which is ten minutes from central London!
No hair dryer, no mini bar.
Comfy bed Good breakfast buffet
High charge for overnight parking
Cleanliness and pillows !
peaceful location and air con
slightly dated in style, but room fine :-)
Close proximity to The Roundhouse, Close to Tube Link, Nice restaurant at hotel and others around. 50 minute walk to Regent St/Oxford Circus through several nice areas of park land. Good quality breakfast
Lifts seemed very slow with a life of their own, so took the stairs.
Friendly staff, good breakfast and evening meal.
Being able to park my car at same time - extra cost but think was only about £12 for whole night/day (although if not staying in their hotel, I think their parking is about £12 for abt 2 hours !) There are a lot of 'Permit parking only' in nearby side streets & only a limited number of parking spaces on main street, some for only 2 hrs and some for 4 hrs. Also more or less straight across from Belsize Park Tube Station. If you enjoy walking it isn't too far from Hampstead Heath. Nice area and nice cafes & restaurants in area with Hampstead just 10/15 minutes walk up the hill and Camden area further down hill (2 tube stops)
Suppose a petrol station quite near front some wouldn't like, but actually found it handy for refuelling - and main entrance is at side so garage not in view from there. Breakfast is separate added on price, however there are other restaurants nearby if one didn't want to have in hotel.
Bed, pillow, towels
Size of room, no socket near the headboard
We stayed whilst our son received treatment in the Royal Free Hospital and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food is excellent especially breakfast!
Could hear people in the room above - please not we didn't bring this to the attention of staff so they didn't have an opportunity to address the problem. £35 to extend our stay by 5 hours (because of his treatment) was disappointing but we realise that this is a business.
The bed!!!!!!!!!!! The bedding! The wonderful reception and dining room staff! The breakfast!
Room was a bit cramped but ok for 1 night
Many coffee shops, cafes, pubs, small stores in the immediate vicinity. Easy access to tube (Belsize Park 4 min) and the Overhead (12 min). Less than 1 hour taxi journey to Heathrow. Lots of locals - not many tourists.
I stayed at Premier Inn Hampstead with my partner on 19/09/2014 for a concert we were attending at Maida Vale studios that night. The staff were absolutely wonderful as they arranged our transport to Maida Vale for us. We didn't book for breakfast on booking.com but the staff were happy to let us pay when we arrived. The bar and restaurant staff were very helpful too. I'm a vegetarian and there was already a lot of things on breakfast I could eat but the staff made me quorn sausages at no extra price. The breakfast was lovely! As were the drinks we had in the hotel bar after the concert. The hotel is very central to lots of restaurants and Belsize Park tube station. The room was clean, comfortable and homely. I haven't slept that well for a long time! The hotel is located right in the middle of Belsize Park which is an area of London I'd definitely visit again. It was beautiful and quiet for London but still very busy! Also great value for money. Overall a great place to stay!
Directions to the hotel weren't very clear. The hotel is called Premier Inn London Hampstead even though it isn't in Hampstead. We were told the hotel was on Haverstock Hill when it was actually on a side street off Haverstock Hill. All very confusing for someone on their second time in London! The bathroom was a little smaller than what was depicted on booking.com but it was still a good size for me and my partner. There isn't a lot I can complain about!
The bar/restaurant area lacked a bit of atmosphere at night. We popped in for a quick drink once we arrived back from our day/night out but ended up going to the pub across the road. The restaurant had music playing at breakfast time but it was deadly quiet at night.
Bed Bed linen Cleanliness
Dull room / furnishings Combined shower gel/shampoo No tissues Only one hand towel
The hotel was perfect location for where we needed to be, as with all Premier Inns comfort of beds was great.
The room we had was small There wasn't much space in the bar you were basically sitting in the Restaurant when you only wanted a drink.
Evening reception staff poor. The pnly comfortable chairs are oposite they reception desk. Bedroom was not functionally correct for able bodied or disabled persons.
On arrival reception staff very curteous, pleasant and helpful. We gadgets meal deal which was outstanding value for money. The waitress staff were also very polite and helpful. The room was comfortable. Would highly recommend this premier inn.
Have thought and tried to come up with a negative but can't find one.
Room was more than ok, food/restaurant was fine, breakfast great, but mainly we felt looked after because of my wife's disability, they helped with parking, directions, all with a big smile. The location is lovely. Not been to London for a long time and thought it might have been a big anonymous and hassled experience, but due to the quality of the staff care it felt like we were in a friendly village hotel.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived early but they went out of their way to give us a room early.
Should have sports bar area.
The staff were so helpful. Everything was consistent with Premier Inn standards. Didn't hear a thing all night ! Had a fantastic sleep !!
We found the Premier Inn Hampstead to be welcoming, comfortable and competitively priced. Its location is good and while our room was small, it was perfectly adequate for our visit. The staff were friendly and helpful and we would stay there again.
The staff at reception were friendly
Room was very small. I was waking up on four separate occasions throughout the night due to the thin walls and noisy guests. I was disappointed that breakfast was not included in the cost.
the staff is very friendly, hotel was clean, great location (near metro station), breakfast was excellent.
