Really central location but quiet at night. Breakfasts pretty good at the Anchor.
Premier Inn really must start giving FREE wifi. Every other hotel does.
friendly staff, good breakfast in the attached pub, comfortable room
nothing serious, a safe in the room would have been appreciated
Perfectly organized, very clean, very friendly and the Break feast arrangement in the adjacent Pub via a walkway was excellent. My husband and I really enjoyed it and we would certainly recommend it.
Got to hotel and was able to leave bags in the luggage room / check in early. Staff on reception were very polite and welcoming. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty, even when accidentally turned up late for weekday breakfast the chef made extra effort to make me a plate of full english!
Overnight staff on the phone rushed through our query and seemed a little dismissive, vending machine is handled by a third party and there was no bottled water available. The tele channels were not popular ones and the service rendered pointless.
The location was perfect for our purposes, which included attending a performance at The Globe. The room was comfortable, clean and well appointed. The total cost, including breakfast, was excellent. The breakfast choice was varied and tasty.
The trek from the room to the breakfast room was tedious and the sliding bathroom door was heavy and would pose a problem for anyone with age/mobility issues.
Nice staff, great breakfast and wonderful location
The kid's beds were not ready when we arrived but after one remark at the reception, this was fixed immediately.
Quiet room despite being in popular leisure area.
Lack of plug in wash basin!
place, staff, very clean, good atmosphere, nice staff at the pub in the breakfast
the backyard of the pub is dirty and sometimes noisy
Fantastic location tucked away in a busy city. Proximity to restaurants, Borough Market , the Globe, Tate Modern. Staff terrific.Very clean and cosy.
Wonderful service, even had a parking spot! So close to The Globe & transport Staff lovely
location had everything we needed staff were excellent
we had a noisy person stomping in the room above us most of the night some loud people in the street after midnight until early hours
I didn't like a strange click noise what come out from smoke sensor on top. It did click once per minute whole night. First night it was ok. It did come second night. Otherwise it was great stay there. I would like stay there again!
room was spotless
Good as every Premier Inn
Strong smell of polish in the room as it was done recently
Clean rooms Superb location Helpful staff Value for money Helpful reception staff Friendly restaurant/breakfast host
Surly cleaning/domestic staff Rooms sorely need a mini fridge
We picked this location as our kids had treated us to a meal in the Shard and we decided to stay the night close by. It took us 10 mins to walk there. Loved the huge bed and everything was spotless with everything you need. Staff we're lovely and friendly. Breakfast was in pub next door which you could access from the hotel. Plenty of choice, English and continental.
Not very good view from our window. Luckily only there the one night so not that important.
I had made the mistake of booking an additional room, but at the other Premier Inn at Southwark!! The receptionist was really helpful in cancelling booking I had made at wrong hotel and re-booking so all of party were at same hotel. Has to be my favourite hotel in London, fabulous hotel at competitive rate. Will be returning.
No problems whatsoever with this hotel.
Great location. Even if we hadn't had an event on in the area. It's still in a prim spot to do so many things.
Location, the pub next door, the staff, the chef, the breakfast.
The taxi driver was unsure how to get there, so not a good sign! When we pulled up, the entrance was through a large wooden gate to the back of the building. But on e inside found everything to be great!!! The location was perfect, around the corner from the Thames and within walking distance to a lot of the sights, pubs, etc. We would stay there again for sure!
Terrific location Connected to the Anchor Good sized rooms Helpful staff
A little noisy on the ground floor
Loved the fact that the inn is attached to the Anchor Pub. Great place.
Ground floor room was a little noisy.
We like the atmosphere, the area of the London, the personnel, and this time the air conditioning was nice!
The price was higher than last year :-( Quite a lot. The reading lamps at the beds are very poor, lighting at the table is non-existent. The support bars in the bath are too low to do any good for showers.
Central location, ideal for sightseeing.
