The staff is always ready to help and they do it with enthusiasm. Good breakfast!
Not quite as predominant as last time but the staff can be a bit too eager to help. If a guest needs help they will ask, they don't need the staff on their case 24/7!
Comfortable, quiet, polite staff. Everything we needed for our overnight trip.
Bathroom did not have a bath
Recently stayed here for Invictus games closing ceremony. Only a 10 min walk to tube station! Breakfast superb-eat as much as you like and u16s eat free.
great staff very friendly
Room spotless, 30 mins free wifi. Toby Inn next door for excellent evening meal and breakfast in the hotel. I would book again if in the area.
Nothing comes to mind.
Without exception, all the staff here were warm, friendly and helpful making our stay a real pleasure.
Excellent staff who were very helpful during our stay. Breakfast was lovely and very good value for money.
Not really a problem but would of liked iron already in the room rather than asking reception for one.
Well worn and no air conditioning in bedroom
On arrival reception staff were very friendly and polite.
We were not informed that the two rooms we had booked 104 & 105 were both connecting rooms to other guests. We felt that we were sitting in the same room as the people in the adjoining rooms. All conversation could be heard. The bathroom floors in each room were grubby and unhygienic particularly in the shower area. Overall, we could not wait to leave, we had very little sleep as the children (one was a screaming baby) in the rooms connecting did not settle down until late and woke very early. It would have been better if young families where in one part of the hotel and families with older children and adult guests were in another apart of the hotel. In room 104 the window could not be opened because there was a constant loud humming noise. Not the restful break we had planned on, very disappointing.
The staff are polite and friendly.
When booking in we had to pay immediately, this was not a problem, unusual though, however we had to produce some form of ID if we paid in cash.................a card was acceptable but not real money, sorry think that is ridiculous, we only stayed the one night it was a small amount of money. Is this the policy in all Premier Inns, they should not assume everyone carries ID they would accept or that everyone has a credit card.
friendliness of the staff
if one is spending more than just one night, there is a lack of space to put clothing i.e drawers. one has to lay them out on the Sofa.
Good size room. Clean. QUIET
The heavy, winter tog.duvet. Yes, I know there was a sheet, but both are exremes.
The staff were really friendly, the lovely chap at breakfast couldn't do enough to please us. I would definitely stay here again. And the bed was really comfy.
We lived the friendliness and efficiency of the staff and the breakfast was great!
Would have liked a bath .
Staff very helpfull&very clean
Very friendly staff and great breakfast
The booking via Booking.com was incorrect as it said "VAT included" against the price but then added VAT lower down the page to make a new total. Also, carpets were a bit musty, smelt of sick!
The hotel, as always, was clean and of the standard we have come to expect from Premier Inn. With the Toby Carvery next door it is very easy to walk across and have a meal. Plenty of parking as well.
Only 30mins of free Internet per day. A bit much in this day and age - we do expect free, unlimited Internet access.
The staff were particularly polite and helpful. Roger in particular saved me when I had trouble getting a taxi.
The Staff provided excellent service, thank you. Breakfast was also excellent, we will miss our daily conversations with Farouk who made sure we were well nourished before setting out on our daily excursions. Hotel Location is a bit away from Central London, but easily reached with Tube from Loughton Station and Bus, Busstop (Stag Lane) right outside the Hotel, just familiarize yourself with the Bus times to avoid standing outside for long (it does rain at times). There's a Sainsbury's right at Loughton Station to shop for supplies if needed. The room and beds were comfy and clean. Very nice Housekeepers as well, excellent service. Overall very good Hotel with only small oddities, such as the Rooms do not have phones in them. For wake up calls the staff will knock on the door, which worked just fine. Would stay there again.
There's no Common Area Computer. I left my laptop at home to avoid the scrutiny by security at the airport, also didn't need the extra baggage and expected a Computer at the Hotel with Internet access, which is usually available either with free Internet or for a Fee at Premier Inns. It was a bit inconvenient not being able to check balance on Credit Card or make a payment due to no computer in the Lobby. Needs to be listed more clearly which Hotels do not have that option. But we still had a very pleasant stay at this Premier Inn.
The staff were fabulous. Very helpful. We were greeted by Michelle who helped us with taxi details. Farouk was a total star when we arrived for breakfast. All staff were very attentive.
Staff was great!
Very clean - grouting in shower completely unmarked. Comfortable night´s sleep as promised. Staff very attentive. Is next door to Toby Carvery (not my thing) but is at the top of Queen´s Road where there are lots of places to eat. Number 20 bus stop right outside.
We stayed where for a week. Everything was really good. Staff was best of all. Best from staff was Farouk, really pleasant and helpful, took great care of us during breakfast. Good tasty full English Breakfast + it was free for kids. Hotel is located about 15-20 min walk from underground station Buckhurst Hill. Town is really nice and quiet. It takes about 30-40 minutes to get to center of London by underground. Would stay there again.
